Abstract: A baby diaper changing station (10) includes a base (16) that is configured to be in fixed connection with a wall (12). A table (14) is in movable rotatable connection with the base. The table is movable between a use position in which a changing surface (18) extends generally horizontal and faces upward, and a stored position in which the table extends parallel to the wall and in overlying relation of the base. The table is supported through rails (108, 110) that extend in respective channels (102, 104) within the table. Stop pins (154) are configured to stop rotation of the table in the use position and to prevent damage to the changing station from an excessive downward load on the table. The stop pins are frangible so that if an excessive load is applied, the pins bend and break without causing damage to other structures. The changing station can be returned to service by replacement of the stop pins.

Abstract: A height adjustable child seat (10) includes a generally rectangular body (12) which includes a seat recess (18). The child seat is supported by four legs (24) each of which includes an upper leg (26) and a lower leg (32) that extend in telescoping relation. Each leg includes a releasable latch (34) including a positioning projection (36) which is selectively engageable in axially disposed positioning apertures (38). Each leg is in connection with a foot (50) which includes a disc (56) with an overlying tread layer (66). The child seat includes a child holding harness (78) that includes at least one flat plastic band that has smooth surfaces on all sides thereof.

Abstract: A cover is provided that is adapted to wrap around at least a portion of a child container such as a crib or play yard. The cover includes at least one fabric sheet having a surface area sufficient to cover substantially all of a top face of a mattress in the child container. The sheet includes at least one mattress fastener such as a sleeve or band that is operative to mount the sheet to the mattress. The cover also includes at least one panel connected to the sheet which wraps inner faces of the walls of the child container, which extends over the upper edges of the walls, and which extends over adjacent portions of the outer faces of the walls. The at least one panel includes at least one fastener component that is usable to fasten the cover adjacent the outer faces is of the child container.

Abstract: A crib is provided that includes a mattress support portion, a horizontal member and a vertical member. The horizontal member may correspond to a portion of a front or back wall of the crib. The vertical member may correspond to a post adjacent the horizontal member, which vertical member includes an upper end that extends above the mattress support portion and a lower end that extends below the mattress support portion. The crib may also include at least one bumper mounted with a fastener that connects the vertical member to the horizontal member of the crib.

Abstract: A crib is provided that includes a drop gate that pivots relative to a stationary portion of a wall from an open position to a closed position. The crib may include a hinge that in the closed position of the drop gate forms a cavity therein that has a height that is sufficiently large to enable a finger of a child to extend into the cavity to be adjacent a pivot axis of the hinge, without being pinched by the hinge. Also, the crib may include a stop surface of a latch device that contacts a projection in a cavity of a striker plate to prevent pivoting of the drop gate into an interior space of the crib. The cavity in the striker plate may include sufficiently large spaces above and below the projection to receive a finger of a child therein without the finger being pinched.

Abstract: A crib is provided that includes a mattress support portion and a vertical member. The vertical member includes an upper end that extends above the mattress support portion and a lower end that extends below the mattress support portion. The crib further includes a caster that is operatively connected to the lower end of the vertical member, and a first reinforcing member that is operatively connected to the mattress support portion and the caster.
