Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method of extracting and labeling connected elements in images, and more particularly, to a method of detecting connected elements formed as pixels are connected to one another in images and assigning label numbers thereto. A method of extracting and labeling connected elements of images of the present disclosure has the effect of improving productivity by quickly and effectively performing detection and grouping of connection element objects in an image and assigning label numbers thereto by using a small number of operations. A method of extracting and labeling connected elements of images of the present disclosure has an effect of accurately extracting and labeling connected elements without an error even when the shape of the connected elements of an image is complicated.
Abstract: Provided are a method and apparatus for detecting a pattern image, and more particularly, a pattern image detection method and a pattern image detection apparatus for effectively detecting a pattern of a template image from a target image. The pattern image detection method and the pattern image detection apparatus can provide an effect of quickly and accurately detecting the pattern of the template image from the target image while reducing the amount of computation for detecting the pattern of the template image.

The method can further include determining, by the geometric pattern matching device, information on detection object contour points for a detection object on a detection image, and performing, by the geometric pattern matching device, geometric pattern matching between the learning object and the detection object on the basis of the information on the reference geometric pattern contour points and the information on the detection object contour points.
