Abstract: A QSFP-DD receptacle connector received within a cage includes an insulative housing and a contact module assembly received within the housing. The contact module includes a plurality of horizontal wafers stacked with one another, and each wafer includes an insulator and a plurality of contacts integrally formed therein wherein each contact has a front contact sections extending forwardly into a mating cavity formed in the housing, and a rear connecting section connected to a cable rather than to the printed circuit board. The receptacle connector associated with a cable is attached to a chassis. The cage optionally forms therein two mating spaces respectively receiving two receptacle connectors with the associated cables extending rearwardly.

Abstract: An electrical connector mounted on a PCB includes: an housing comprising a base, a mating tongue and a mounting portion, each surface of the mating tongue defining twelve terminal positions (P1) through (P12); two rows of terminals, each terminal including a mating portion, a leg portion and a middle portion connecting with the mating portion and the leg portion, each leg portion defining a soldering pad. Each row of terminals include grounding terminals in terminal positions (P1, P12) power terminals in terminal positions (P4, P9), and there are no terminals set in terminal positions (P2, P3, P10, P11). The soldering pads of the two rows of terminals are arranged in one row and at least two grounding terminals or two power terminals aligned with each other in a vertical direction are located side by side so as to share a same pad defined on the PCB.

Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulative housing and a contact module essentially composed of a plurality of contacts integrally formed within an insulator via an insert-molding process wherein the contact module is assembled to the housing via two steps along different directions perpendicular to each other. The housing forms a plurality of protrusions engaged with the corresponding ribs of contact module in the vertical direction so as to retain the contact module to the housing reliably. All the insulator, the contacts and the housing are arranged in a staggered manner.

Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulative housing retaining a plurality of contacts therein and surrounded by a metallic seat. A clip includes a frame with corresponding four walls to commonly form a receiving cavity to receive the electronic package therein, and each wall forms a pressing section to downwardly press an upward surface of the electronic package. A pair of latches are formed on a lower side of the frame to cooperate with the pressing sections of the walls to retain electronic package within the receiving cavity to be wholly a sub-assembly for being commonly received within the electrical connector. The clip includes a releasing handle to actuate the corresponding latch, and the releasing handle is positioned in an opening of the seat and intimately above the printed circuit board to function as a foolproof mechanism for loading the electronic package in a right orientation.

Abstract: A freeform DOE for use in an optical transmitter and a method of designing and manufacturing the DOE are provided. The freeform DOE is capable of achieving the same, or nearly the same, functionality as that of a glass DOE, but has a design that has been transformed to make the surface profile of the DOE compatible with a molding process that can be used to manufacture the DOE with high quality at low costs. The method of designing and manufacturing the DOE includes preselecting a CGH that will obtain a target freeform DOE design, using a preselected smoothing function to smooth the surface profile of the target freeform DOE design to transform the design into a DOE design that is compatible with a molding process, and using a fabrication process to manufacture a freeform DOE that is based on the transformed DOE design.

The carrier frame includes latches to retain the CPU thereon. The rail frame includes a pair of opposite sliding channels extending in the front-to-back direction, along which the carrier frame is moveable. Abstract: An electrical connector for testing an electronic package, includes an insulative housing, an insulative sliding plate mounted upon the housing and moveable horizontally along a transverse direction, and a cover up-and-down movable relative to the housing in a vertical direction. The cover forms the actuating parts to contact the rollers of the sliding plate when the cover is downwardly pressed so as to not only urge the sliding plate to move horizontally in the transverse direction but also smoothly move downwardly to a lower position where the electronic package may be loaded upon the sliding plate in a zero insertion force condition with regard to the contacts.

Abstract: A card edge connector includes an insulative elongated housing, a plurality of contacts disposed in the housing, and a pair of rotatable ejectors at two ends of the housing. The housing includes a pair of side walls extending along the longitudinal direction with a receiving slot therebetween in a transverse direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, and a pair of towers at two opposite ends of the housing in the longitudinal direction. The receiving slot is configured to receive a card type memory module. The pair of ejectors are disposed in the corresponding towers, respectively. Each ejector includes a kicker at the bottom wherein a tip of the kicker will not invade into the space between the pair of outermost contacts so as not interfere with the corresponding outermost contacts when the ejector is rotated to be at an open/ejecting position.

A decorative ink layer coats to the first surface of the substrate facing the interior of the electronic device, several LDS ink layers coat to the decorative ink layer, the LDS antennas are disposed on the corresponding LDS ink layers. The LDS antenna defines feed-in portion connecting with the conductive member, the conductive member comprises a flexible printed circuit and an anisotropic conductive adhesive connecting the flexible printed circuit and feed-in portion. Therefore, the transmission and reception of signal data can be realized through the connection between the flexible print circuit and the LDS antenna thereby enhance the effect of signal transmission and meet the needs of flexibility and miniaturization.
