The method can be configured to identify a cluster of clauses or sentences from a plurality of semantically similar clauses of the document and determine one or more representative concepts for the cluster of the document. An impact of each clause of the cluster is determined using one or more semantic parameters and impact analysis rules. The impact of the each sentence of the cluster is then determined using the impact of the respective clauses and subsequently, the impact of the cluster is determined using the impact of the respective sentences. Based on the impact of the cluster, an impact of the document on the one or more representative concepts is determined.

Abstract: Computer implemented natural language processing systems and methods for generating a semantic network for a specific concept of interest. The method includes identifying co-reference relationships between sentences or clusters of a corpus of documents so as to determine one or more clusters of co-referential sentences. One or more concepts or events are determined from the clauses or sentences of the clusters and relationship identification rules are processed to determine relationships between concepts or events identified in the clusters. Subsequently, the semantic network of the determined relationships is generated.

Abstract: A system, method and computer program that enables an application designer to automate the process of software development and develop business applications by modeling the constituent business process models is provided. After identifying the business requirements in terms of the underlying business processes, the same are modeled visually using the inter-relationships across processes. The modeling activity is accomplished by using the visual modeling environment in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention, which, among other tools comprises a set of abstract business components. Each business process is viewed as a collection of business tasks. Each business task is modeled as an instance of an abstract business component. The instance acquires process-specific context with process-specific parameters input by the application designer. Such tasks are then connected together as required for the business process.

Abstract: A method and a system for automated content analysis to assess impact on one or more business organizations. Content is aggregated from at least one content provider. The aggregated content is classified in knowledge ontology on the basis of a plurality of attributes of the content. Subsequently, a score is assigned corresponding to the impact of the classified content on the business organization in accordance with a set of scoring rules. Finally, a graphical representation is generated showing a cumulative score corresponding to the impact of the content on the business organization assessed during a predefined time period.

A system and method for paying by a credit card, preferably at a point of sale, is disclosed. The system employs an automated interactive voice response system preferably sponsored by client (Website owner). The user calls into the system using a standard telephone, and enters credit payment information about the customer using the key pad of the telephone in response to verbal questions posed by the system. In one embodiment, only numeric information concerning the customer is entered, such as the customer's credit card number, expiry date . . . etc.

Abstract: A picture frame mat opening cutter is adapted for cutting both circles and ovals and depth of cut can be controlled by the amount of downward pressure applied during use. A thin, transparent plate member on one side mounts a straight edge member which can be adjusted to various parallel positions to engage an outer edge of the mat material and on an opposite side mounts a marking device support member having a replaceable marking device whose marking point can be arranged to extend through any one of a series of arcuately arranged selected openings in the plate member to engage and mark the four sides of the mat surface opening along the four outer edges of the mat and at predetermined distances inward therefrom.
