Abstract: A torque wrench including a drive heat defining a torque transfer axis and having a shank generally coaxial within and pivotally connected to a tubular handle, and coupling means including a spherical coupling member releasably interconnecting the shank and handle so as to effect pivotal movement of the handle and create an audible indication to the operator when a predetermined but selectively variable torque is applied at the torque transfer axis in either rotational direction. A tubular auxiliary handle is adapted for telescoping relation with the primary handle and enables torque multiplication.
