Abstract: A four-way, field-reversible self-latching cabinet lock includes a cylinder and plug assembly shell that is rotatable with respect to a bolt housing cover for the lock. A locking device is provided to fix the cylinder and plug assembly shell in one of four orthogonal positions with respect to the bolt housing cover. The bolt housing cover is receivable by a bolt housing and conventional self-latching latch bolt. In this manner, pins in the cylinder and plug assembly may be retained in a desirable vertical position while a throw of the bolt can be adjusted to vertical, inverted, left-hand, and right-hand positions in the field without special tools or additional parts.
Abstract: A lockbox is adapted for receipt within a main cavity defined by a conventional trailer hitch. Various embodiments of the lockbox include a pivotable opening front wall, and a removable top. The lockbox may have a rectangular, triangular or other polygonal configuration as well as having the configuration of an elongated tube.

Abstract: A deadlocking, self-latching lock for cabinet doors and drawers employs a unitary shell with an adjacent main bolt and self-latching deadlocking bolt. A pivoting locking arm prevents external retraction of the main bolt without the use of a key.
Abstract: A cylinder and plug assembly is released by depression of a springloaded release button. The release button engages a radially directed aperture in a unitary shell. The radially directed aperture has longitudinally directed, diametrically opposed extensions which facilitate engagement and disengagement of the release button with the aperture.
Abstract: A rekeyable cam lock has a plug rotatably received in a cylinder. The plug has a keyway and pin tumblers and is provided with a circumferential groove rearward of the pin tumbler. The cylinder has a bore to receive the plug and a pair of transverse holes to receive a U-shaped clip in registration with the plug groove. The clip engages the groove, permitting rotation of the plug but preventing its removal from the cylinder. When the clip is removed from the holes, the plug is forwardly removable from the cylinder to facilitate rekeying of the lock.
Abstract: A re-keyable lock has a forwardly removable cylinder and plug assembly. The cylinder and plug assembly is removably secured to the lock by a setscrew. The setscrew can be removed with conventional and readily available tools. An alignment structure is provided to facilitate alignment of the cylinder and plug assembly with the lock.
