Abstract: A record album having a receptacle on the inner surface of each of the front and back covers is provided with printed sheets attached to the spine and disposed between said receptacles. The album is constructed to provide substantial protection for the records therein regardless of whether the album is employed for shipment through the mails or storage of the record.

Abstract: A silver color coin or medal is produced from a copper-silver alloy containing from about 30 to 60% by weight of silver. The normal rose color caused by the copper in the alloy is removed by selective electrolytic etching.

Abstract: A metal book binding comprising a metal cover laminated to hard covers and a spine cover of a conventional fabric-hinged, bound book with flexible mesh or woven wire metal hinges connecting the metal portions of the covers and spine to completely cover the book with metal, while not interferring with its normal hinge action.

Abstract: A method is provided for producing a bi-metal object comprised of at least one image area raised in relief on the base of the object. The area in relief and the base of the object consist of different metals. The method comprises compacting the metal powder which will constitute the image area raised in relief; compacting the metal powder which will constitute the base of the bi-metal object while that powder is in direct contact with the metal powder already compacted to form the area in relief; sintering the composite at a relatively low temperature and for a preferred interval of time; and striking a chosen design on the base of the bi-metal object. The finished product will comprise an image area raised in relief which will be of appreciable height; the image area raised in relief will be separated from the base by a sharp regular border; and the base may retain a proof finish.
