Abstract: A self-righting tee ball stand with a base, an adjustable length ball support stanchion and a flex connector joining the base and stanchion to easily yield when the stanchion is struck and to cause the stanchion to return to an upright orientation. The flex connector includes a two-piece rigid outer housing containing a helical spring encased in a cylindrical bellows.
Abstract: A portable and collapsible storage locker formed of rigid, interconnected panels which, when fully assembled, form a self-standing, integrally strong unit and, when collapsed, fold together to occupy a minimal volumetric space. Opposed side walls are hingedly connected to a front frame, and opposed end walls are hingedly connected to a rear wall panel, both to fold inwardly in interlocking fashion such that the side walls overlie the rear panel and the end walls overlie the side walls within the region bounded by the front frame. The storage locker may optionally include a full or partial height door hinged to the front frame. The door may also include a lock if desirable. The side walls include means for supporting one or more shelves for dividing the interior space of the assembled locker and the shelves may be removable or optionally hinged to a side wall panel.
Abstract: A hockey glove that uses a combination of high and low density padding in finger and knuckle pads to protect the user's fingers and knuckles and rigid thumb plates to protect the user's thumb from impact injuries and backward hyper-extension. The high density padding protects the user from impact injuries and breakage caused by sharp blows to the hand. The high and low density padding combination provides a comfort fit with a limited range of flexure of the fingers stalls. Additional flex of the finger and knuckle pads is achieved with one or more hinge panel joints associated with notch openings in the high density padding to permit a clasping or gripping movement by the user. Cooperative thumb support plates are attached to the back of the hockey glove adjacent to the thumb stall and allow the user's thumbs to bend inward toward the palm, but prevent the thumbs from hyper-extending backward.
Abstract: Sports fan headgear as a multi-colored, logo bearing, pre-molded stretchable face mask permanently affixed to a multi-colored, logo bearing fabric cap. The headgear may be worn such that the face mask fits over the face of the wearer or may be reversed and worn such that the face mask covers the back of the head of the wearer.
Abstract: A ball for use in playing street hockey having a substantially smooth spherical shell with a hollow interior cavity partially filled with a liquid and a plurality of prills to less than one-half of the volume of the interior cavity. The specific gravity of the prills is less than that of the liquid to minimize splash of the liquid and to improve the ability of the liquid to remain in the lower portion of the ball as it travels over a playing surface.
