Abstract: An apparatus (50) is provided for use in internal cleaning of at least one pipe (10), which apparatus (50) is arranged for connection to a first pipe end (14) of the at least one pipe (10) and to a second pipe end (15) of the at least one pipe, wherein the apparatus (50) at least comprises a coupling device designed for connection to a reservoir of pressurized gas, a pressure chamber (20) for introduction of cleaning pigs (21) and a pig receiver (23) for receiving cleaning pigs (21) which have passed through the at least one pipe (10). The apparatus (50) further comprises a pressure booster (29) for pressurizing a liquid fluid and at least one valve means (16,17) so as to allow a cleaning pig (21) to be driven through the at least one pipe (10) by means of either the pressurized gas or the pressurised liquid fluid.
Abstract: A fluid analysis system is provided for analysis of a fluid flowing in a pipe or in a pipeline. The fluid analysis system comprises a pipe portion which, when the fluid analysis system is put to use, forms a part of the pipe or the pipeline through which the fluid flows. The pipe portion is provided with a fluid sample outlet for withdrawal of fluid samples from the fluid flowing through the pipe portion and a fluid sample return outlet for returning fluid samples to the pipe portion, where the fluid sample return outlet is arranged downstream of the fluid sample outlet. The fluid analysis system further comprises a fluid analyser which is provided in fluid communication with the fluid sample outlet and the fluid sample return outlet, and a propeller unit which is provided with at least one upstream propeller and at least one downstream propeller.
Abstract: The invention relates to a particle counter apparatus for counting particles in a fluid flowing in a pipe or a pipeline. The particle counter apparatus comprises a pipe portion through which the fluid flows, where the pipe portion is provided with a fluid sample outlet for withdrawal of a fluid sample. Furthermore the particle counter apparatus also comprises a first fluid transfer body extending from the fluid sample outlet to a particle counter, and a second fluid transfer body extending from the particle counter to a fluid return outlet mounted in the pipe portion downstream of the fluid sample outlet. In the pipe portion there is mounted a propeller unit comprising a propeller and a generator, with the result that particles are distributed uniformly in the fluid before the withdrawal of fluid samples, and electric power is provided for operation of the particle counter apparatus.
