Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention address deficiencies of the art in respect to composite recycling and provide a novel and non-obvious dissolution tank, recycling system and recycling process adapted for the separation of fibers during composite dissolution. In an embodiment of the invention, a dissolution tank adapted for composite dissolution and fiber separation includes a tank, a pair of opposing perforated structures disposed within the tank, an actuator coupled to the perforated structures and configured to drive the pair of structures towards one another, and a control system programmed to direct the actuator to drive the structures towards one another responsive to a determination that a composite part disposed between the structures is transforming from a rigid state.

  • Patent number: 11296054
Abstract: A power semiconductor module, as well as a corresponding method of manufacture, are provided. The power semiconductor module has a plurality of power switches. A first subset of the power switches forms part of a first electrical current branch. A second subset of the power switches forms part of a second electrical current branch. Within the current branches, the associated power switches are arranged symmetrically with respect to the DC voltage contacts and are connected in such a way that a current density which is formed in the individual current paths which are respectively assigned to one of the power switches is at least substantially homogeneously distributed during the high frequency operation of the power semiconductor module and/or in the operation of the power switches with high voltage gradients.

  • Patent number: 10928294
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for quantifying emitting particles and for characterizing the time-dependent behavior of the particles. The number n of emissions of the particles in the measuring period that have been detected in a time interval having a predetermined interval width within the measuring period is ascertained, wherein the evaluation is performed particularly for a plurality of time intervals having the same interval width, with a distribution function p(n) for the number n of detected emissions being determined. For the interval width different bin times ? are stipulated, and, for each bin time ?, the evaluation is performed and a distribution function p?(n) is ascertained, wherein, for each bin time ?, moments mi,?Mess for the distribution function p?(n) are ascertained, from which bin time dependent moment functions miMess(?) are presented.

Abstract: The invention relates to metal foam bodies having an open-porous structure as well as a method for producing thereof wherein according to the set task such metal foam bodies are to be provided which achieve an increased oxidation resistance and/or an increased corrosion resistance. With the metal foam bodies having an open-porous structure according to the invention, for such metal foam bodies within the webs of the open-porous structure there are channel shaped cavities formed as being determined by the production. At the same time, the webs and cavities will be provided with a metallic protective layer made of a material differing from the metallic starting material of the foam body or the channel shaped cavities will be filled with this material. For this, an adequate metal powder or an alloy component being included in the powder will be used which becomes liquid and forms a liquid phase respectively during thermal treatment below a temperature at which the metal of the base foam body is melting.
