Patent number: 10285514Abstract: An improved shelf barrier for helping prevent items, including pallets of goods from unintentionally sliding off the shelves of pallet racks. The stop member can include at least one, preferably two or more grooves formed therein as strengthening features. The grooves can be concave grooves on one surface of the stop and can also be corresponding convex ribs on the opposite surface of the stop. The stop can be formed with two differently sized sections to be attached to the shelf of a pallet rack, each section suitable for attachment to a differently sized pallet rack shelf, such that either can be used by merely inverting the stop. A flange can be provided at one or both ends of the stop to help align the stop with the rack and prevent the stop from pivoting about a single attachment bolt.Type: GrantFiled: October 13, 2017Date of Patent: May 14, 2019Assignee: Frazier Industrial CompanyInventors: Domenick Iellimo, Aaron Iellimo

Patent number: 6315137Abstract: A modified structural channel member is formed to include an indented region, or detented region, within the web portion of the channel. The indented portion, in conjunction with one flange of the channel, may be used as a connector in a cantilever rack structure. Alternatively, when formed to include a detented portion, a pair of such channels may be used as a shelf support structure, with a support beam resting between the pair of detented portions. A conventional channel member may be processed by a punch and die, or alternatively, by a rolling technique, to form the modified structural channel structure of the present invention. A plate may be used in place of a channel, with the plate similarly processed to include any desired indent or detent structure.Type: GrantFiled: August 27, 1998Date of Patent: November 13, 2001Assignee: Frazier Industrial CompanyInventor: Frederick A. Patent number: 6106184Abstract: A bolted connector for joining a pair of metal piece parts that exhibits improved stiffness is made by forming a burred aperture on one of the metal piece parts. The piece parts are configured to include bolt apertures with slightly different diameters, the piece part included the burred region comprising the lesser diameter. When the piece parts are joined, the burred region is forced into the second aperture. Once the pieces are joined, a threaded bolt is inserted through the first and second pieces and a nut is threaded onto the bolt shank to contact the underside of the second metal piece part. The burr functions as a physical "stop" within the second aperture and prevents relative motion between the piece parts.Type: GrantFiled: November 12, 1997Date of Patent: August 22, 2000Assignee: Frazier Industrial CompanyInventors: Byron J. Patent number: 6073743Abstract: A case flow system consisting essentially of a roller bed arrangement equipped with a plurality of independent wheels disposed in a spaced-apart relationship along a set of steel axles joined to a pair of side rails. A plurality of inverted generally U-shaped support members extends from the rear to the front of each bed and is located adjacent to the wheels. A set of cross beams are disposed underneath and in contact with the support members so that the load on the bed may be transferred from the support members to the side rails while simultaneously reducing the load on the axles. The improvement in weight distribution is such that bearingless, inexpensive wheels may be used.Type: GrantFiled: February 2, 1999Date of Patent: June 13, 2000Assignee: Frazier Industrial CompanyInventor: Roger W. Patent number: 5964361Abstract: An ergonomic storage rack in which arcuate rails are joined to a horizontal beam in a spaced-apart relationship to form an access area therebetween. The arcuate rails form shelves on which loaded pallets may be stored. The rails may be positioned at any desired height but, preferably, at a level which defines beneath each rail an additional storage area. The access area may be entered by a worker to access whatever pallet load has been stored and select from its sides those items which are to be retrieved.Type: GrantFiled: February 21, 1997Date of Patent: October 12, 1999Assignee: Frazier Industrial CompanyInventors: Roger W.
