  • Patent number: 4118120
Abstract: A page model used to photographically prepare printing plates incorporates a mounting sheet on which cards for receiving printed matter are slidably secured by card edge retainers on the front side of the mounting sheet. Different embodiments disclosed have the card edge retainers formed as slits in the mounting sheet and transparent retaining strips secured to the front side of the mounting sheet. A retaining sheet secured to the back side of the mounting sheet or tape is utilized to secure card edges inserted through the slits to the back side of the mounting sheet. Strips of transparent double-sided tape secure the transparent retaining strips to the front side of the mounting sheet. A strip of adhesive material, wax as disclosed, cooperates with the card retainers to secure the cards. Nonphotographic horizontal and vertical indicia on the front side of the mounting sheet and the front sides of the cards is provided for use in aligning the cards.
