Abstract: A modular panel system including a plurality of posts where each post includes a front face, a rear face, and opposed lateral faces. A central channel is formed in the front face where the central channel has a linking opening, a first ledge and a second ledge. Cutouts are formed in the ledges. The rear face includes a panel receiving channel that receives an edge of a panel. A linking element is configured to be secured in the linking opening. The head of the linking element is sized to fit within the first and the second cutouts and be secured by the first and second ledges to couple the first post to the second post. The lateral faces of the coupled posts together form a first side central channel and a first side central channel cutout that is configured to receive a second linking element to couple a third post to the coupled first and second posts.

Abstract: A structure is described that includes a central channel with first and second ledges on a first and second side, respectively, of the central channel. The ledges include a first cutout in the first ledge and a second cutout in the second ledge aligned with the first cutout. The structure also includes a first side channel and a second side channel that each include an outer wall. The outer wall on the first side channel includes a first outer wall cutout that is aligned with the first cutout and the outer wall on the second side channel includes a second outer wall cutout that is aligned with the second cutout.

Abstract: A method of installing temporary construction elements for an event without damaging a floor is disclosed. The method includes creating a digital file of an architectural template illustrating the construction elements. The method further includes printing the digital file as a full-scale architectural template. The full-scale architectural template comprises one or more sheets capable of protecting the floor during installation of the temporary construction elements, each sheet being a portion of the full-scale template. The method further includes placing and aligning the sheets on the floor so that the markings are positioned in the same location as the corresponding temporary construction elements should be and attaching the sheets to the floor. The method further includes installing the temporary construction elements on the sheets in accordance with the markings. The method further includes removing the sheets after installation of the construction elements.

Abstract: An automated system and method for pricing a bundle package based on a weight of a bundle includes an interface, a point of entry and a processor. The interface requests information and displays information. Data relating to the requested information is submitted through the point of entry. The requested information includes dimensions of a booth and a weight of a bundle to be displayed within the booth. The processor receives and controls the data and includes a rules database, a transaction processing system and a calculator. The rules database stores a pre-established set of rules for classifying data into one of a plurality of bundle packages and for associating the bundle packages with a price. The transaction processing system stores and analyzes the submitted data and the pre-established set of rules in the rules database. The calculator determines a bundle package price based on the submitted data and the pre-established rules in the rules database.

Abstract: A tool is provided for use in connection with development of a brand essence. The tool includes a plurality of subsets of descriptor cards. Each subset of descriptor cards has a first set of indicia relating to an associated human sense on a first side of each descriptor card and a second set of indicia relating to the associated human sense on a second side of each descriptor card. The subsets of descriptor cards are based on a plurality of theme categories common to each subset. The first set of indicia on each descriptor card includes a theme category, at least one example associated with the theme category and relating to the associated human sense, at least one descriptor associated with each example, and at least one image associated with the example. The second set of indicia on each descriptor card includes the example on the first side of the descriptor card and the image on the first side of the descriptor card.

In particular, embodiments of the present invention relate to systems and methods for providing a user with a guided interface through which the user can arrange to purchase products and services from a provider that may assist in presenting an exhibition booth. The user may select booth features, carpet features, cleaning services, labor services in setting up and breaking down the booth, and furnishings.

Abstract: The present invention relates to systems and methods for calculating a cost for material handling. In particular, embodiments of the present invention relate to systems and methods for booth related materials for providing a user with the ability to accurately calculate and store material handling estimates for one or more exhibition shows in which they are participating. In one embodiment the material handling calculator may include screens for selecting the booth number, the location, the packaging parameters, and the weight to be shipped. The material handling calculator may utilize this information and provide a summary and then an estimate of the material handling cost for that show. In other embodiments the material handling calculator may also provide the material handling estimate for a number of shows.

Abstract: A connector for connecting lengths of tubing in an end to end relation, the connector comprises a central body comprising first and second cooperating members operatively associated with a mechanism for moving the cooperating members in a direction transverse to the longitudinal axis of the connector and wedge members, the wedge members surrounding the central body and resting against the central body so that when the cooperating members are caused to move apart, the wedge members are urged outwardly to uniformly engage the interior of a tube to be connected.
