    Abstract: The covering (20) for repairing worn-out steps has two unitary flanges (21, 22, 25, 29) linked together, and is made of step and scuff resistant plastic. At least the capping (21) comprises at its underside facing the step (10) an insert of press board, which has less specific weight as the plastic (23) of the covering (FIG. 1).
