Abstract: Disclosed herein is a floor shield which can be located above the floor below a urinal. The floor shield can protect a user's clothing, such as shoes and pants, from being soiled while using a urinal. In some embodiments, the floor shield can have a liquid absorbing mat contained between frame elements. The absorbing mat can easily be removed and replaced when the mat is dirty.
