Abstract: Medical probe or tube suitable in particular for enteral feeding and comprising a flexible tube which has at its distal end a closure cap and at its proximal end a connecting means, and a mandrin with securing means formed corresponding to the connecting means, wherein at the distal end of the tube near the closure cap in the tube openings are disposed and the closure cap has a gelatin coating, and preferably on the closure cap over the gelatin coating a further coating of gastric-juice-resistant material is disposed and preferably in the cap a metal head is located.
