The seal stack also includes a first annular back-up and a second annular back-up provided at opposing ends of the sealing element, wherein said first back-up includes an interior surface that receives a second end of the sealing element.
Abstract: A filter cartridge includes a filter medium configured as an elongated bellows having a first and a second longitudinal end. The bellows are connected at the first longitudinal end to a base and at the second longitudinal end to a top. The bellows enclose a central passage. The bellows are configured in a shape of a prism.
Abstract: Fibers or one-dimensional, two-dimensional, or three-dimensional fibrous structures configured to be hydrogelling, produced from fibers made of a first fiber raw material, whereby the first fiber raw material contains water-soluble polyvinyl alcohol and/or polyvinyl alcohol copolymer, whereby the hydrogelling configuration of the fibers or fibrous structures is achieved by tempering the fiber raw material at a predetermined tempering temperature that is preferably higher than the glass transition temperature and/or lower than the melting or decomposition temperature of the first fiber raw material employed, as well as by tempering for a predetermined tempering duration, and whereby the fiber raw material is cross-linked by the tempering.

Abstract: A sealing bellows includes a sealing region disposed at a first end on a first end face and an attachment region disposed at a second end on a second end face. The sealing region includes an integrated first clamping element with a first internal diameter. The attachment region includes an integrated second clamping element with a second internal diameter. A casing is disposed in an axial direction of the sealing bellows between the sealing region and the attachment region with a third greatest internal diameter. The casing, the sealing region and the attachment region merge integrally into one another and are composed of a flexible rubber material, and, as a condition of production: the casing is substantially spherical; and the third greatest internal diameter of the casing is larger than the first internal diameter of the first clamping element and the second internal diameter of the second clamping element.
Abstract: A process and system for ventilation of welding smoke including an air passage configured to receive smoke from a welding environment, wherein said air passage has an inlet and an outlet and said inlet is positioned adjacent to said welding environment. The system also includes a filter coupled to the air passage, wherein the filter includes filter media that exhibits a burst strength of up to 20? w.g., an initial resistance in the range of 0.3? w.g. to 1.5? w.g., an air flow in the range of 1,000 cubic feet per minute to 2,500 cubic feet per minute and a removal efficiency of greater than 50% for particles having a diameter of 0.3 ?m to 10.0 ?m.
Abstract: Sealing frame (1) for utilization in a battery, encompassing a base body (2) whereby the base body (2) encompasses an opening (3), whereby the base body (2) features a first sealing surface (4) and a facing second sealing surface (5) and whereby the first sealing surface (4) and/or the second sealing surface (5) are implemented elastically compressible. During normal operation, the frame provides an optimal operating temperature and a reliable leak tightness, in the event of failure however the frame permits the electrolyte to escape, effortlessly and directed, characterized by cooling passages (22) that are integrated in the base body (2) and/or a heating device (23) which interfuse the base body (2) at least partially along the lengthwise expansion of the sealing surfaces (4, 5).
Abstract: The invention relates to a mop cover (1) for a cleaning device. Said mop cover comprises at least two layers (2, 3) that are interlinked in a manner so as to configure a pouch-type mop cover (1) having an insertion end (4). The layers (2, 3), on their faces (5, 6) facing away from each other, configure a wiping surface and the insertion end (4) can be permanently closed in some sections.
Abstract: The invention relates to a multi-layer composite for use in an air filter, comprising at least one upstream ply and a support ply that is connected to the upstream ply. The upstream ply is made of a non-woven fabric and has a finer porosity than the support ply. The aim of the invention is to form and further develop a multi-layer composite for use in an air filter, in particular in a filter bag in such a manner that the upstream ply can be connected in a stable and economical manner to the support ply. The invention is characterised in that the upstream ply is embodied as a spun bonded non-woven, the continuous filaments of which are at least partially twisted or interwoven with the support ply.
