  • Safety tassel for venetian blinds

    Abstract: A safety tassel is provided for the lift cords of a Venetian blind assembly. The tassel includes a plurality of slots each of which can releasably receive a height adjustment cord of the Venetian blind assembly. Ends of the cords are knotted and fit in an open bottom of the recess. The tassel will remain affixed to the cord during normal use. However, lateral forces that would be encountered if a child is entangled between the cords will cause at least one cord to separate from the tassel.
