    Abstract: A safety lock, particularly a self-locking lock, including at least one l catch and a bolt operable by a lock cylinder and a split latch nut. For creating a particularly inexpensively manufacturable and relatively narrow safety lock, a coupling device of the lock is provided with two congruent racks which have a panic or freewheel function. The racks are superimposed and mesh with the teeth of the inner and outer nut. An electromagnetic coupling is achieved with the aid of a coupling lever, which is fixable to each rack directly or indirectly subjects to the function of the particular rack and engageable with a detent of the racks.

In order to provide a lock secure against manipulation and reliable in operation, where an uncontrollable extension of the bolt is particularly effectively prevented even in intermediate states of the opening and closing process, on opening the bolt leads compared with the lock swing catch and is arrestable completely retracted in the lock and the lock swing catch is provided with a widening, e.g., with a pivotable, springloaded swing catch part.

    Abstract: The invention relates to an arresting/release device for a swing catch of a working current door opener with a catch lever, which arrests or releases the swing catch, a first safety lever, which maintains the catch lever in the arrested position and is pivotable with the aid of an electromagnet to a position releasing the catch lever, and with a second safety lever, which acts on the first safety lever for impact protection of the catch lever.In order to achieve an impact protection advantageous from the manufacturing and installation standpoint, the second safety lever is constituted by a mechanically decoupled lever of low mass mounted in its center of gravity. This symmetrically constructed, vibration-proof, second safety lever secures the first safety lever in an impact-preventing position and is magnetically coupled to and pivotable with the coil core, which is made from a soft magnetic material and has a relatively long acceleration path.

    Abstract: A locking/release mechanism for a pivot bolt of a closed-circuit door opener with a safety catch for the pivot bolt, which is controlled by an electromagnet. In order to reliably ensure release of the pivot bolt, even if a person has exerted strong pressure thereon prior to the cutting out or interruption of the magnet current, a locking lever is positioned between the electromagnet and the safety catch. The locking lever has a two-armed construction, one arm being provided with a stop member for engaging with the safety catch and the other arm being in the form of the electromagnet armature. The effective contact surface between the safety catch and the stop member is constructed in such a way that there is a wedge-like displacement action on the stop member through the safety catch.
