Patents Assigned to Fritz Schafer Gesellschaft
  • Patent number: 4750633
Abstract: A storage and transportation case or box for storage systems with automatic feed and removal devices and transport devices and conveying paths associated with the feed and removal devices includes two longitudinal walls and two transverse walls and a bottom so as to form a box-like container. At the bottom the case has support and guide elements for interacting with support and guide rails mounted in the shelf system. On at least one of its transverse walls, the case has on the level of the bottom an engagement member for engaging insertion and extraction members of the feed and removal devices. The bottom, the longitudinal and transverse walls and the engagement member mounted on the outside of the tranverse walls are constructed as a single-piece injection molded article of plastics material. The engagement member for the insertion and extraction members are ledges extending essentially parallel to the transverse walls. The ledges are composed of at least two walls and reinforced by cross-webs.

  • Patent number: 4703980
Abstract: A transport container 1 for stacked goods consists of a base plate 2 with skids 3 welded underneath. In addition, it has four upright corner posts 4 between which are fitted in side walls 5. However, it also has an upper frame 6 with stack corners 7 above the corner posts 4, the stack corners 7 being directed upward. The transport container 1 for stacked goods is constructed in such a way as to be suitable for receiving small quantities of various bulk goods or parts and to ensure access to the various bulk goods or parts, respectively, at any time, as desired. Therefore, four upright rails, which are provided with a row of slots 16a, are arranged in the interior of the container at or in the vicinity of the corner posts, at which rails storage tubs 13 or shelving floors 14 can be directly suspended by means of girders 15.

  • Patent number: 4676384
Abstract: A shelf board (3) formed of a plate-like material, particularly sheet metal, exhibits by way of a stiffening profile (6) a tubular cross-section at least along one of the longitudinal edges. To improve the torsional or twisting deformation resistance and thus achieve a higher load carrying capacity, the tubular cross-section of the stiffening profile (6) is equipped at least at its inside bottom surface with a stepped recess profile section (15) formed by a step-shaped bend (11, 12).

  • Patent number: 4648517
Abstract: A shelf support structure with upright posts of sheet metal sections and horizontal braces of sheet metal sections, connecting these with each other, provides with a simple structure an inherently stable connection between the posts and the horizontal braces. The sheet metal sections of the posts have an aperture at one longitudinal side and are symmetrical in cross-section with respect to a plane crossing this aperture. The aperture is terminated on both sides by flanges protruding outwardly at right angles from the walls adjoining it and a longitudinal ledge protruding into the post is located opposite the aperture, symmetrically to the plane crossing the aperture. The horizontal braces engage with their ends into the sheet metal sections forming the posts up to the wall lying opposite the aperture and are there equipped with an indentation in whose area they embrace the longitudinal ledge in the posts in a fork-like manner.

  • Patent number: 4561705
Abstract: A storage and transport container comprises a pair of like housings each having a normally vertical back wall having upright and parallel side edges and horizontal top and bottom edges, a pair of generally parallel side walls extending horizontally in one direction from the side edges, and respective generally parallel top and bottom walls bridging the side walls and extending in one direction from the top and bottom edges. Thus the housing has a front side open in the one direction. At least one horizontally extending partition projects in the one direction from the back wall intermediate the top and bottom walls, bridges the side walls, and forms two housing compartments. The top, side, and bottom walls each have a rear edge attached to the respective edge of the back wall and a front edge spaced in the one direction therefrom. A loop formed generally at the front edge of the top wall and extending upwardly therefrom is generally centered between the side walls.

  • Patent number: 4501456
Abstract: A rack designed to accommodate several tiers of drawers has a frame spanned by one or more shelves defining a plurality of storage levels each partitioned by at least one upright divider into a plurality of compartments disposed side by side, each compartment having a wide-open front end and a rear end which may be partly obstructed by a low sill allowing an inserted drawer to be rearwardly extracted on being lifted above that sill. A profiled web in an upper zone of the front end of each compartment, projecting from above with a height slightly exceeding that of the sill, coacts with an upper rear flange of the respective drawer to prevent its forward extraction by a sliding motion through enabling such extraction by an upward tilting of the drawer; that web also lets the drawer hang out of its compartment with a slight downward tilt in a forward position. The top of the frame is concave to serve as an open ancillary receptacle.

  • Patent number: 4417541
Abstract: A spray booth provided with a horizontally oriented nozzle for the surface-coating (e.g. coloring) of suspended workpieces passing by on a transporter is provided with an upright stationary screen intercepting excess coating material. The screen is spaced from the floor of the booth so as to enable the continuous circulation of two wipers therearound, one of them ascending behind the screen while the other descends on its front surface facing the nozzle. The screen is overlain by a sprinkler depositing solvent on its front surface to keep the intercepted coating material in a liquid state.

  • Patent number: 4291804
Abstract: An open-topped box of rectangular horizontal outline, with vertical side and rear walls, has a forwardly slanting front wall terminating at about half the height of the box in a forwardly and downwardly bent handgrip. The handgrip merges at its ends into inner boundaries of two hollow upstanding corner profiles which flank the access opening left above the front wall and have shoulders rising from the bottom to the top of that opening, the lower portions of these shoulders being aligned with two more forwardly positioned ribs of the corner profiles defining with those lower portions a pair of vertical guide grooves for a closure plate insertable from above even when the box is overlain by a similar box to form a stack.
