Patents Assigned to FRYMA-Maschinen AG
  • Patent number: 5518191
Abstract: The invention relates to an agitator mill which has both a static separating arrangement and a dynamic separating arrangement on the outlet side of the grinding chamber. These two separating arrangements complement one another in an ideal manner, since in the starting phase in particular the dynamic separating arrangement ensures a trouble-free start, whilst during operation the static separating arrangement enlarges the total effective opening in a desired manner and thus leads to a low pressure in the mill. Thus the agitator mill according to the invention is distinguished by a high level of reliability, low maintenance costs, low wear and universal applicability.

  • Patent number: 4629133
Abstract: A ball mill stator providing a milling space between a housing and a cover and a ring-like displacing body in the milling space with a V-shaped radial cross-section forming part of the rotor. The material being milled together with the balls flows around the displacing body from a feed inlet to an outlet along spiral paths. The milling media kept back at the milling gap are moved through a duct into an annular space and from this point through conveying ducts of an impeller outwards and re-enter the milling space at a small distance above the feed inlet. The impeller is sealed between the rotor and stator and is powered by a motor, or by a variable speed drive, run at a speed controlled by readings taken from different parts of the mill system such that the milling media is evenly distributed in the material being milled by which they are moved along making the milling operation more uniform and efficient.

  • Patent number: 4105066
Abstract: A heat exchanger with a scraping cooling arrangement for fluid matter which tends to adhere to the heat exchanging surface. A pot-shaped casing is sealed by an end-plate. The casing provides for concentric interchanging of heat-exchanging parts with heat-exchanging agent flowing therethrough. At least three annular chambers are provided for processed matter to pass through. A power-driven stripping device consisting of stripping branches protruding axially and unsupported into the annular chambers with scraper bands fitting closely to the heat-exchanging surfaces, is rotatable about the axis of the casing. At least one annular chamber is, at one end, connected to the nearest outer annular chamber and is connected at the other end, to the nearest inner chamber in a circuit. The annular chambers are separated, however, in other respects, and at least one seal is formed by a gasket rotating with the stripping device.
