Abstract: A system and method for fraud detection may include (a) receiving, by a model based fraud detection unit, a plurality of images related to fraud attempts, (b) determining, by the unit, for each of the images, whether or not the image is related to a fraud attempt, (c) if a percentage of the images identified as related to fraud attempts is lower than a threshold, then automatically modifying at least one coefficient in the model, and repeating steps (a), (b) and (c) until a percentage of the images identified as related to fraud attempts is higher than the threshold.
Abstract: A system according to the invention may include: an access control system and a central control unit. The access control system may include: one or more entry checkpoints to a premises, a plurality of controllable gates, a plurality of cameras and a local control unit. The local control unit may be configured to: obtaine, for at least one camera from the plurality of cameras, a stream of images of one or more persons approaching a checkpoint, and extract from the obtained images dynamic identification data. The local control unit may further be configured to stream the extracted dynamic identification data to the central control unit. The central control unit may be configured to: create a motion based identification vector from the extracted dynamic identification data, compare the motion based identification vector to stored identification motion based vectors, and calculate one or more confidence level scores for identifying the one or more persons approaching the checkpoint.
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention relate to a method and a system for managing access control identity parameters. The system includes a plurality of local access control systems configured to receive identity parameters of persons and transmit the identity parameters to a remote identity verification and management service, and to control local access controlling means. The remote identity verification and management service is configured to receive identity parameters from at least some of the plurality of local access control systems and store the identity parameters so that the identity parameters are associated with the respective persons.
Abstract: A portable identification device, an identification system and method are disclosed. The device may include a processor, a memory, at least one sensor, and a display unit. The sensor may be at least one of a camera and a directional microphone, and the processor may be configured to: receive from the at least one sensor a data stream, analyze the received data to extract identification data from the received data stream, send at least a portion of the extracted identification data to a remote computing device, receive identity related information from the remote computing device, and present the received identity related information on the display unit.
Abstract: An automated gatekeeper system and method are disclosed. The system and method comprise a control unit, sensors monitoring a checkpoint and gates to controlled premises and controllable gates. A person who wishes to enter may be inquired by the system in order to monitor and identify his or her identity, to verify whether the identified person is listed in at least one list of classified persons and to define whether that person is in a state of mind or mood which may have implication on the decision whether to allow his or her entrance to the premises.
