Abstract: To provide a terminal apparatus including a receiver configured to receive, in a time resource including a plurality of OFDM symbol groups, a synchronization signal included in each of the plurality of OFDM symbol groups, a synchronization unit configured to determine a position of a first synchronization signal that is one of the synchronization signals, and a detection unit configured to receive, based on the first synchronization signal, a physical broadcast channel. The time resource is periodically allocated, and a maximum number of the plurality of OFDM symbol groups in which the synchronization signal included in the time resource is possibly transmitted is predefined.
