Abstract: An assay device capable of assaying purity of a substance in an object includes a memory, an emitter, a receiver, a processing unit, and a display device. The memory stores names and standard densities of a number of substances. The emitter emits rays at the object. The receiver receives the rays reflected by the object. The processing unit calculates density of the object according to intensity of the emitted rays and intensity of the reflected rays. The processing unit further calculates purity of a selected substance in the object according to the density of the object and standard density of the selected substance stored in the memory, and outputs the calculated purity to the display device.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a display, a keyboard, and a fixing element. The display includes a display surface and an opposite rear surface having a fixing structure. The keyboard has a using state and a folded state. When the keyboard is in the using state, the keyboard is positioned in front of the display, and when the keyboard is in the folded state, the keyboard is fixed on the rear surface. The fixing element is connected between the fixing structure and the keyboard and configured to cooperate with the fixing structure to enable the keyboard to change between the using state and the folded state.

Abstract: A photo management method implemented by an electronic device having a first camera and a second camera includes capturing a first photo by the first camera and capturing a simultaneous second photo by the second camera of the face of a user. Facial characteristics are extracted from the second photo and the characteristics are added to attribute information of the first photo. When the user wants to browse photos showing or including himself/herself, a third photo of the user is captured and facial characteristics extracted. One or more first photos are determined according to the facial characteristics of the third photo, and the one or more first photos showing or including the user are collected in one group and displayed.

Abstract: A power button module includes a pressing member, a printed circuited board, a supporting member and a bottom cover. The supporting member defines a receiving hole therein and includes a mounting portion. The mounting portion includes a base body, a mounting section and a plurality of resilient arms interconnecting the base body and the mounting section, the pressing member is partially received in the receiving hole and fixed to the mounting section, the printed circuit board partially extends through the mounting section and connects with the pressing member. The printed circuit board comprises a contacting portion away from the pressing member. The bottom cover is fixed to the supporting member and receives the mounting portion. The bottom cover comprises an electrical connecting portion spaced from the contacting portion. The present invention further discloses an electronic device using the power button module.

Abstract: A power plug for connecting with a power outlet includes at least two metal connecting poles, two outputting cavities, and two conductive resilient sheets. The two outputting cavities are defined in a lower case of the power plug to connect an external device. The two conductive resilient sheets are received within an inner space of the power plug. The at least two metal connecting poles pass through an exterior surface of the power plug into the internal space to form two connecting terminals. Each of the conductive resilient sheets is connected between one of the two connecting terminals and a corresponding outputting cavity to transport electrical power from the power jack to the external device.

Abstract: A testing device includes a position assembly, a benchmark assembly, and a measuring assembly. The position assembly includes a fixing base and a position member movably mounted on the fixing base. The benchmark assembly includes a mounting base oppositely configured to the fixing base, and a benchmark member rotatably positioned on the mounting base. The measuring assembly is positioned on the mounting base. The benchmark member includes a rotating portion and a locating portion coaxially connected with the rotating portion, the rotating portion is movably received in the mounting base, the locating portion protrudes from the mounting base and facing the position member. The measuring assembly includes a loading member movably positioned on the mounting base and a gauge mounted on the loading member.

Abstract: A connecting mechanism for connecting a first unit and a second unit together is illustrated. The connecting mechanism includes a first linkage bar, a second linkage bar for being coupled to the first unit, and a third linkage bar for being slidably connected to the second unit. The first linkage bar includes a first end with a latching protrusion and an opposite second end. The second linkage bar includes a third end, an opposite fourth end, and a number of teeth. The first end is slidably connected to the second linkage bar. The latching protrusion is configured to selectively interlock with any one of the teeth of the second linkage bar. The third linkage bar includes a fifth end pivotally connected to the second end of the first linkage bar and a sixth end pivotally connected to the fourth end of the second linkage bar.

Abstract: A keyboard includes an upper frame, a main body, a lower frame, and an adjustment mechanism. The two frames cooperate with each other to sandwich the main body. The lower frame includes a bottom plate defining a though hole. The adjustment mechanism includes a first adjustment member, a second adjustment member, a supporting member, a driving member and a position stopper. The supporting member protrudes from the bottom plate via the through hole to support the keyboard. The first driving member drives the supporting member to protrude from the bottom plate via the through hole when the first adjustment member is operated. The second driving member drives the supporting member to retract into a receiving space defined by the two frames when the second adjustment member is operated. The position stopper secures the supporting member when the first and the second adjustment members are not operated.

Abstract: A computer-implemented video analyzing method includes dividing a video into a plurality of sections. The similarity value of the first frame and the last frame of each section is greater than zero. A representative frame is selected from each section, and the similarity value of each two representative frames is computed. Two sections the similarity of whose representative frames is the greatest are combined into one section. The recording time of the first frame and the recording time of the last frame of each section is determined if the similarity value of representative frames of each two adjacent sections is zero.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides an automatic positioning system that is in a mobile device. The mobile device communicates with a vehicle. The system includes a first detection module, a second detection module and a positioning module. The first detection module detects the mobile device is in a moving state or a static state in real-time. The second detection module detects the vehicle is in a moving state or a static state in real-time. The positioning module acquires the location of the mobile device and records the acquired location as a position where the vehicle is parked in the mobile device, when the vehicle changes from the moving state to the static state, the mobile device changes from the static state to the moving state.

Abstract: An automobile includes a main body, and an infrared detecting unit on the front portion of the main body. The infrared detecting unit includes an infrared emitter connected to a motor, and an infrared receiver. An anti-collision method includes controlling the motor to rotate to rotate the infrared emitter. Controlling the rotating infrared emitter at each rotated position to emit infrared lights with an effective projection range L which form an illuminating trajectory spaced from the front portion by a distance S. Calculating a height of a protruding portion on the road surface according to the effective projection range L, the distance S, and the distance between the infrared detecting unit and the road surface H, if the infrared receiver receives the reflected infrared lights reflected by the protruding portion. Actions are preformed to protect the automobile if the calculated height is greater than a preset value.

Abstract: A rotation joint includes a base and a rotation member sleeved on the base. An end of the base defines at least one first air guiding hole and a first air outlet. An outer sidewall of the base defines an air guiding groove. The air guiding groove extends around an axis of the base. A bottom wall of the air guiding groove defines a second air guiding hole communicating with the first air guiding hole. The outer sidewall of the base further defines a second air outlet. The first air outlet communicates with the second air outlet. Sidewalls of the rotation member define connecting holes. One of the connecting holes communicates with the second air outlet, while the other connecting holes communicate with the air guiding groove. The present disclosure further provides a multiple air channel workstation using the rotation joint.

Abstract: An exemplary embodiment of a testing device for testing a pulling force includes a shell having a test platform, a load sensor mechanism, a control system, a drive and transmission mechanism and a material clamping mechanism. Two portions of a test object are clasped by the load sensor mechanism and the clamp. When the load sensor mechanism is driven to move further away from the clamp via the drive and transmission mechanism, a pulling force perpendicular to the test platform is generated between the two portions of the test object. The load sensor mechanism detects the pulling force and feeds back the detection to the control system.

Abstract: A holding apparatus for holding an object, includes a support mechanism, a driven mechanism slidably coupled to the support mechanism and slidable between a first position and a second position, a driving mechanism slidably coupled to the support mechanism and adapted to drive the driven mechanism to slide between the first position and the second position, and a clamping mechanism rotatably secured to the driven mechanism and the support mechanism. When the driven mechanism is slid to the second position, the clamping mechanism moves inwards to clamp the object, and the driven mechanism clamps the support mechanism to prevent the driven mechanism from moving relative to the support mechanism so the clamping mechanism can hold the object firmly. When the driven mechanism is slid to the first position, the clamping mechanism expands out to allow the object to be released.

Abstract: A power supply circuit includes a power output port, an operational amplifier, a voltage adjusting circuit, a feedback circuit, and a current controlling circuit. The power output port connects with an electronic device under test and provides a power supply which in all respects simulates the behavior of a battery being discharged as it supplies working power, the circuit also mimics the behavior of a battery in testing the battery-recharging abilities of the electronic device.

Abstract: A display apparatus includes a detector to detect an angle of a center line of the display apparatus relative to a horizontal line of the south geomagnetic pole when in the horizontal plane. The apparatus stores a reference angle. The apparatus determines the rotation angle of the display apparatus by subtracting the reference angle from the angle of the center line of the display apparatus relative to the horizontal line of the south geomagnetic pole; and rotates display content according to the rotation angle. A related method is also disclosed.

Abstract: A nozzle assembly includes a support member, a first tube, a second tube, and a baffling member. The support member defines a receiving hole and an opening communicating with the receiving hole. The first tube extends through the opening and defines a first space communicating with the receiving hole. The second tube is retained within the receiving hole and defines a second space communicating with the receiving hole. The baffling member is securely connected to an end of the second tube that is retained within the receiving hole. The baffling member forms a plurality of gaps for directing the airflow from the first space.

Abstract: A detection circuit includes an amplifier circuit, a rechargeable unit, a first comparator, a second comparator, a reference voltage providing circuit, a first resistor R1, a second resistor R2, and a processing unit. The amplifier circuit is connected to a bridge circuit sensor and amplifies signals output by the bridge circuit sensor to an output voltage Vo. The reference voltage providing circuit provides a reference voltage Vref1. A charge current of the rechargeable unit is (Vref1?V0)/(R1+R2), and a discharge current is (Vref1?VCC)/R1. The processing unit controls the rechargeable unit to be charged for a time period T1 and to be discharged during a time period T2. The processing unit then calculates the output voltage Vo according to an equation: (Vref1?V0)×T1/(R1+R2)=(Vref1?VCC)×T2/R1, and obtains the signals according to the output voltage Vo.

Abstract: An electronic apparatus includes a base, a sliding member and a sliding mechanism. The sliding mechanism includes a first magnet disposed in the sliding member, and a first electromagnet disposed in the base opposite to the first magnet. The first magnet and the first electromagnet are capable of producing a first repulsive force and a first attracting force, the sliding member alternately slides back and forth between the different locations of the base driven by the first repulsive force and the first attracting force.

Abstract: An anti-eavesdropping communication system and method are adapted to be applied in a mobile phone. The mobile phone defines a normal call mode and an anti-eavesdropping call mode. When a user of the mobile phone has a phone conversation using an earphone in the anti-eavesdropping call mode, the system plays a preset audio file which is a recording of the voice of the user saying unimportant things. From the position of a bystander, the recording of the voice of the user interferes with the clarity of what the user is actually saying, and prevents people beside the user overhearing or eavesdropping on the actual conversation which is taking place.
