    Abstract: A revolving nozzle station and a revolving drive device that revolves the revolving nozzle station are housed inside a cassette case of a cassette-type nozzle exchanging unit. In an outer circumferential portion of the revolving nozzle station, multiple nozzles for exchange with a nozzle of component mounter are arranged radially along a revolution path, and the nozzles are held in a detachable manner. A nozzle exchange port is formed in a top end surface of cassette case, and nozzle exchange is performed between the revolving nozzle station and a mounting head of the component mounter through the nozzle exchange port. A shutter mechanism which opens and closes the nozzle exchange port is provided in the cassette case.

    Abstract: A control device, that based on number one and number two component presence signals, respectively calculates number one and number two cutting points of number one and number two tapes from predetermined pitch of number one and number two cavities, and number one and number two distances between number one and number two detection positions and number one and number two cutting positions. By this, cutting points can be specified even when tapes have different pitches between cavities, and the tapes can be spliced reliably.

    Abstract: The invention improves an apparatus for connecting trialing and leading end portions of respective two component holding tapes through a metallic connecting member having caulking claws. The metallic connecting members 40 are positioned by metallic-connecting-member positioning protrusions 148 on each of six metallic-connecting-member receiving surfaces 142 provided on an outer circumferential surface of a rotary body 140, and held by a magnetic force. First and second operating levers 68, 70 are operated, while the trailing and leading end portions of the respective two component holding tapes and the connecting member 40 are being positioned in a caulking position by tape positioning protrusions 86, 88 and metallic-connecting-member positioning protrusions 148, whereby a caulking tool 182 is caused to caulk the caulking claws of the connecting member 40.
