  • Patent number: 7207264
Abstract: To provide a method of manufacturing waved noodles, which saves labor of controlling weight of noodle lines at the time of cutting the noodle lines and restrains apparatus cost. A continuous noodle strip 26 with predetermined thickness formed by a noodle machine 2 is cut into a noodle strip 28 with a length for one meal by a cutter 20. The noodle strip for one meal is slit into the noodle lines by a slitter 22. Then, a waving box continuously arranged at a lower portion of the slitter waves the noodle lines for one meal. Waved noodle lines 30 for one meal are conveyed one by one by a conveyer 32 and dropped from the front end of the conveyer toward a shooter 34. The noodle lines 30 dropped from the front end of the conveyer toward the shooter 34 hang downwardly at their front parts 30a to extend their waves and to loosen their sticking parts and fall pulling their rear parts 30b.

  • Patent number: 6745541
Abstract: To provide a lid feeding apparatus which permits reduction in apparatus and maintenance costs, and safe feeding of a lid onto an opening end of a vessel with high accuracy. The lid feeding apparatus includes: a transporting device 2 for intermittently transporting a vessel N with its opening end upward; a lid stocking device 4 holding layers of numbers of laminar lids; a lid feeding mechanism 6 in which one lid is sucked out of the lid stocking device 4, transferred above the opening end of the vessel transported by the transporting device, and fed onto the opening end by being released from suction. There are provided, near the lid stocking device 4, a lid guiding portion 40 for guiding the lid so as to be separated from a lid sucking mechanism to cover the opening end, and a guide portion moving mechanism 46 for moving the lid guiding portion 40 to a level of the opening end of the vessel just before releasing suction of the lid by the lid feeding mechanism.

  • Patent number: 6742277
Abstract: A hot air drying apparatus for noodles which makes possible steady production of high quality instant noodles by blowing hot air at an optimal velocity and in an optimal flow rate all over noodle ribbons to be dried in a short period of time and thereby makes a texture of noodle ribbons uniform and fine is to be provided. In a hot air drying apparatus, a conveyor runs from one end of a lengthwise direction of this apparatus to the other, and noodle ribbons carried from a preceding step riding on this conveyor move within an apparatus at a prescribed speed. The apparatus includes a plurality of drying chambers D1, D2, D3, D4, D5 and so forth into which it is divided in the lengthwise direction.

  • Patent number: 6655263
Abstract: To reduce running costs and equipment costs by bringing entire surfaces of noodle strings carried on a conveyor into contact with steam. High-temperature steam is upwardly supplied from a steam pipes (30) installed on a lower cover (24), by running a delivery belt lane (36a) of a belt conveyor (28)through a steam chamber (26). The belt conveyor (28) is equipped with an endless belt (36), whose delivery lane (36a) passes through the steam chamber (26). The belt (36) is a thin, mesh belt positioned so as to partition the steam chamber (26) into an upper steam chamber (26a) and a lower steam chamber (26b).

  • Patent number: 6644174
Abstract: The noodle gelatinization apparatus holds a plurality of baskets (32) by hanging both their ends on hangers (38) connected to a chain conveyor rollers placed at designated intervals, lays the delivery lane of the chain conveyor in a steam chamber (26) where steam is supplied from its lower part, and passes the baskets through the steam chamber after loading them with noodle strings near an entrance (26a) to the steam chamber. According to the present invention, each of the baskets is a box-shaped body partitioned into a plurality of container compartments with a large number of holes such that each container compartment is capable of containing one serving of noodle strings. Also, hanger support rails are installed spanning between an entrance side and an exit side of the steam chamber. Besides, the basket entering the steam chamber from the entrance side moves toward the exit side (26b), being pushed by the succeeding baskets.

  • Patent number: 5161791
Abstract: An apparatus for feeding sheets such as labels or covers includes a holder having a groove-shaped cross section opening upwardly. The holder is formed with a take-out port at one end, and holds the covers stacked horizontally with their surfaces facing horizontally. A pressing body connected to a rodless cylinder presses the stacked covers with a constant force towards the take-out port. A suction machine having a sucking disk at one end confronting a cover exposed from the take-out port attracts the exposed cover one-by-one. A stepping motor coupled to the suction machine turns the suction machine downwardly to 90.degree. so that the cover attracted to the sucking disk abuts against a top aperture of a container which is carried on a conveyor. When the suction machine releases the attraction of the cover, the cover is left on the top aperture of the container to cover the top aperture.
