Abstract: A casing of an endoscopic manipulating head assembly is largely constituted by and dividable into a main cover section adapted to support an operating means of an angulation control mechanism and a grip cover section provided between the main cover section and an insertion tube of the endoscope. Both of the main cover section and the grip cover section are formed of a synthetic resin material. A support plate of a rigid metal is provided internally of the manipulating head assembly to support the angulation control mechanism. A plural number of passage-forming tubular structural members are successively connected within the grip cover section for passing internal components to and from the insertion tube of the endoscope. The support plate is connected to one of the tubular structural members which is located at the proximal end of the grip cover section.

Abstract: An imaging portion of an imaging apparatus according to the present invention has a cover glass adhered by an adhesive to an imaging surface side of a CCD in a state of sandwiching leads (adhesion area B1), and has a slight airtight air gap formed on the imaging surface side of the CCD so as to render a circumference of the cover glass larger than the CCD. As for a circuit board, a concave portion for accommodating the CCD is formed, and a periphery of the cover glass is adhered to a top surface of the circuit board by the adhesive (adhesion area B2). Thus, the air gap is doubly sealed so that its airtightness is improved and influence of temperature change is reduced so as to prevent condensation on a back side of the cover glass and so on.

  • Patent number: 6798585
Abstract: A reference lens for an interferometer is constructed so that light transmitted by a partially reflecting reference spherical surface may be converged, toward a focal point that coincides with the center of curvature of the reference spherical surface, and reflected from a subject spherical surface that also has its center of curvature at the focal point. Measurement of the shape of the subject spherical surface is possible based on the interference of two light beams, one reflected by the subject spherical surface and one reflected by the reference spherical surface. The reference lens, which may include five or six lens components or lens elements, includes a negative meniscus lens component, a positive lens group, and a positive lens component. Specified conditions are satisfied to provide a reference lens that has favorable correction of aberrations, is compact, and can measure the surface accuracy of a wide range of convex spherical surfaces.
