Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes: a roller including a rotational shaft supported by a bearing; a support unit that movably supports the bearing and an attached component of the bearing between a use position of the roller and a retraction position away from the use position; and a contact portion that is provided in one or both of the bearing and attached component, and the support unit, and when the roller is moved to the retraction position, comes into contact with part of the support unit or the attached component opposed to the bearing and the attached component.
Abstract: A document management support apparatus includes a processor. The processor acquires attribute information regarding a person who actually scans a paper document on behalf of a person who is to scan the paper document. The person who is to scan the paper document is a first person. The person who actually scans the paper document is a second person. The processor extracts at least one candidate for the first person from multiple candidates for the first person who each have attribute information. The at least one candidate has attribute information in a predetermined relationship with the acquired attribute information regarding the second person.
Abstract: An electrostatic charge image development toner that is negatively chargeable contains toner particles and layered-structure compound particles. The layered-structure compound particles have a volume-average particle diameter Da of 0.4 ?m or more and less than 3.0 ?m. The ratio Da/Db of the volume-average particle diameter Da of the layered-structure compound particles to the volume-average particle diameter Db of the toner particles is 0.044 or more and 0.625 or less.
Abstract: An electrostatic charge image development toner contains toner particles and layered-structure compound particles. The layered-structure compound particles have a crystallite diameter of 150 ? or more and 250 ? or less as calculated from a maximum peak width in a Cu K? X-ray diffraction chart and have a number-average particle diameter Dn of 0.3 ?m or more and 2.0 ?m or less. The ratio Dn/Dv of a number-average particle diameter Dn of the layered-structure compound particles to a volume-average particle diameter Dv of the toner particles is 0.03 or more and 0.7 or less.
Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a belt, an inner surface supporter, a transfer unit, a guide unit, and a guide controller. The belt holds and transports a toner image on an outer surface thereof. The inner surface supporter presses an inner surface of the belt, rotates about a first rotation shaft, and swells the belt toward the outer surface. The transfer unit rotates about a second rotation shaft while holding the belt between the transfer unit and the inner surface supporter, and presses a sheet transported thereto against the belt to transfer a toner image on the belt to the sheet. The guide unit guides the sheet transported thereto to an area interposed between the belt and the transfer unit.
