    Abstract: An inner coupling tubular type electrodeless lamp comprises a glass bulb, an amalgam, and a power coupler. The glass bulb includes an external portion and an inner portion. A gas discharging cavity that is annularly airtight is defined by an envelopment of the external portion and the inner portion. A coupling cavity is defined in the inner portion. The power coupler includes a radiating post, a ferrite core, and a winding sequentially situating from an interior to an exterior thereof. The power coupler is disposed in the coupling cavity. Two ends of the coupling cavity are intercommunicated with each other as well as the exterior. The external portion of the glass bulb adopts the elongated tube. Wherein, a length of the ferrite core of the power coupler is not smaller than a half length of the coupling cavity. A length of the winding is measured from one-fifth to four-fifth of the length of the coupling cavity to evenly distribute an electromagnetic field.

    Abstract: The present invention comprises a globe shield and an inner disposed inside the shield, between which a low-pressured plasmic arc discharging zone is enclosed. Further, a glass division device near the inner in the discharging zone is coated with fluorescent powder on the surface thereof and is formed by glass or sheet glass having at least one opening defined on the glass to ensure the passage of air. The present invention advantages preferable ruminant efficiency as 15 to 20% higher as that of the conventional products, increasing the thermal resistance between the high-temperature circular discharging zone of the plasmic arc and the power coupler to decrease the heat generated by the corresponding radiation conduction for the inner, so that a large power is enabled by the present invention, accomplishing a performance of 200-300 W of the lighting power, and attaining a 75-85 Lm/W of the ruminant efficiency.

    Abstract: A high efficiency electronic ballast for large power metal halide lamp includes a power input circuit, a power factor correction circuit, a secondary power supply, a control circuit, a half bridge power converter, a resonant starting circuit, and lamp current on/off detector. The half bridge power converter has two DC block output capacitor to protect the converter when the output is shorted to ground. The operation frequency of the converter is chosen in the weak area of the acoustic resonant to avoid the acoustic resonant in the lamp. The control circuit adds a method for deep frequency and amplitude modulation and delay control function to the converter. For fine sweep pass through the output resonance point for igniting high voltage, two sweep rate control circuits are added. The metal halide lamp can be operated with very stable from starting to normal operation with high electronic ballast system efficiency.
