Abstract: A computer-implemented method for recommending at least one substrate to be used in conjunction with a digital image to form a print product includes: providing a digital image; providing a list of available substrates stored in a memory; utilizing a processor, allowing for the selection of at least one of a size of substrate to be used to form a print product or a display location for the print product; automatically identifying at least one substrate from the list of available substrates utilizing the processor based on at least one of the selected substrate size or the selected display location; displaying the identified at least one substrate on a display; and allowing for the selection of the identified at least one substrate for fulfillment to produce the print product including the digital image disposed on the selected at least one substrate.

Abstract: A system and method for routing and delivering pre-fetched assets/media, such as a digital image, is provided. The present invention is directed to a system that allows for two digital images to be pre-fetched or otherwise transferred concurrently from two separate source devices to virtually expand the bandwidth and increase the efficiency of the transfer. The system also allows image enhancements to be made in a distributed manner either by a source or destination device, or by both. The invention further provides a method of efficiently delivering multiple versions of a single image to a destination device. An asset ranking system is also provided that takes into consideration the frequency at which the digital image is accessed and the number of source devices that that the digital image is stored within.

The user can alter the wall art environment as desired, including selecting a custom wall color and a predefined image of furniture to simulate a furnished room instead of using the photo of the furnished room. The display of the interactive wall art environment includes displaying the cost of purchasing the customized items in the curated layout and linking to a shopping interface for transacting the purchase.

Abstract: A system and method for ordering a print product using a mobile computing device is provided. The system includes a photofinisher configured for receiving a print order from the mobile computing device and producing the print product based upon the print order. Further, a print product ordering module is configured for allowing the print order to be completed using the mobile computing device, wherein the print order includes the digital image and the print product selected using the mobile computing device. A wireless local area network is configured for placing the mobile computing device in communication with the photofinisher when the mobile computing device is located within a range of the wireless local area network.
