  • Patent number: 4804164
Abstract: A flow control device comprising a spindle having a disk at its lower end and a handle at its upper end and spring-biased to bring the disk into pressing contact with a disk seat within a case, a closure having a top wall, and at least one rollable member resting on the upper surface of the closure top wall and mounted on the spindle at an upper end portion thereof projecting upward from the upper surface of the closure top wall. The closure is formed in the upper surface of its top wall with a lower recessed portion for the rollable member to partly fit in, an upper recessed portion for the rollable member to partly fit in and a slanting guide face between the two recessed portions. The rollable member is movable by the rotation of the handle to partly fit into the lower recessed portion to thereby hold the disk in pressing contact with the disk seat or to partly fit into the upper recessed portion to thereby hold the disk away from the disk seat.

  • Patent number: 4763874
Abstract: A control valve includes a pulse motor 1, the threaded shank 4 of a ball screw 3 connected to the output shaft 2 of the motor, a slider 6 united with a nut 5 on the ball screw 3, and a valve stem 8 extending outward from a valve assembly 7 and connected to the slider 6. Two cases 9 and 10, each in the form of a vertical cylinder having a bottom, are fitted together in vertical alignment, and the pulse motor 1 is placed on the upper end of the upper case 9 to close the end opening thereof, with the output shaft 2 extending into the upper case 9. The slider 6 is housed in the lower case 10 and has its peripheral wall coupled to the inner surface of the lower case 10 so as to be vertically slidable. The threaded shank 4 extends through and is rotatably supported by the bottom wall 22 of the upper case 9. The valve assembly 7 is fixed to the bottom wall 41 of the lower case 10.

  • Patent number: 4750524
Abstract: A closed orifice plate stowage disposed outside an orifice plate mount portion at an intermediate portion of a pipe channel has a communication opening on one side of the mount portion for passing an orifice plate therethrough and is in communication with the mount portion through the opening. A movable body housed in the plate stowage and movable in a direction parallel with the pipe channel has a plurality of orifice bins arranged in parallel with the pipe channel at a spacing. A device is provided for moving orifice plates one by one between the mount portion and the plate bins of the movable body through the opening.

  • Patent number: 4645176
Abstract: A control valve comprising a vertical tubular yoke having a bottom wall, a solenoid mounted on the upper end of the yoke for giving a force of attraction the magnitude of which is in proportion to the value of input current, the solenoid having an operating rod directed downward and movable longitudinally thereof by the force of attraction, a valve body connected to the bottom wall of the yoke, a valve stem vertically movably supported by the valve body and having an upper portion extending upward from the valve body into the yoke, and conversion means housed in the yoke for converting the force of attraction acting on the operating rod to a displacement of the valve stem.

  • Patent number: 4392634
Abstract: An electromagnetic valve comprises a valve case having incorporated therein a member for closing a fluid channel through the valve case, a stationary core, a movable core aligned with the core, an exciting coil surrounding the cores, a support member fixed to the valve case for guiding the movement of the movable core, and a shading coil provided on one end of the stationary core which end is opposed to the movable core. The movable core is movable by a magnetic attracting force generated by the exciting coil to thereby operate the closing member. The support member extends toward the stationary core, and the extension is integrally formed with a disk portion in contact with the surface of the small-diameter end and a projecting edge covering the periphery of the small-diameter end. This end is fitted in the projecting edge, which is welded at its forward end to the stationary core.
