Abstract: There is provided a communication device for communicating with a counterpart device, including: a first and a second short range communication modules; and a short range communication controller configured to: control the first short range communication module to exchange information with the communication device, determine whether file transmission between the counterpart device and the second short range communication module is properly done based on the information received from the counter part device, and control the second short range communication module to receive or transmit a file from or to the counterpart device based on a determination that the file transmission is properly done.

Abstract: A wireless communication terminal comprising a network communication unit, short distance wireless communication unit, an input unit and a control unit. The network communication unit transmits radio signals to communication network via a base station. The short distance wireless communication unit transmits radio signals to and from an external device. The short distance wireless communication unit establishes a voice link between the wireless communication terminal and the external device to transmit sound data. The control unit discards a volume update notification received from the external device via the short distance wireless communication unit if the voice link has not been established.

Abstract: A mobile radio terminal includes a radio transmission/reception unit and a control unit. The radio transmission/reception unit uses a radio signal to perform transmission and reception to and from a base station belonging to a circuit switching network, and also uses a radio signal to perform transmission and reception to and from a base station belonging to a mobile communication network. The mobile communication network is connected to the circuit switching network and forms an integrated communication network together with the circuit switching network. When the mobile radio terminal is on standby in a base station belonging to the mobile communication network, the control unit activates the radio transmission/reception unit and controls the radio transmission/reception unit so as to maintain synchronization with a base station belonging to the circuit switching network.

Abstract: An electronic part is held in a sheet-metal part holder having a U-shaped cross-section. The part holder holds the electronic part between a first face and a second face thereof. A front casing corresponding to the first face and a rear casing corresponding to the second face each have an opening bored such that the first face or the second face is exposed through the opening. This enables the thicknesses of the casings to be reduced to that of the part holder.

Abstract: A first mobile communication terminal apparatus reads exchange target information from a memory, attaches identification information for indicating as being the exchange target information to the exchange target information, and transmits the exchange target information to a second mobile communication terminal apparatus. The second mobile communication terminal apparatus stores the exchange information in a memory, and when having determined that the identification information is attached to the exchange target information, reads exchange target information stored in a memory, transmits the read exchange information to the first mobile communication terminal apparatus in return. The first mobile communication terminal apparatus receives the exchange target information transmitted from the second mobile communication terminal apparatus in return, and stores the received exchange target information in the memory.

Abstract: A communication system includes a first terminal with first and second communication units and an information manager, and a second terminal with third and fourth communication units and an information storage unit. The first communication unit makes a wireless communication with a first base station according to a first protocol using information managed by the information manager. The fourth communication unit makes a wireless communication with the first terminal according to a third protocol and receives information used for a wireless communication with the second base station according to a second protocol.

Abstract: A mobile terminal determines, if a communication request is input, whether a connection destination mobile communication network system is a first mobile communication network system as a subscription mobile communication network system, or a second mobile communication network system as a roaming destination mobile communication network system. When it is determined that the connection destination mobile communication network system is the second mobile communication network system, a mobile terminal user is notified of information indicating a roaming state. When an input of a connection destination change request is received, a mobile communication network system reselection process is performed for changing the connection determination mobile communication network system from the second mobile communication network system to the first mobile communication network system.

Abstract: A liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal panel including a first translucent substrate and a second translucent substrate between which a liquid crystal material is sealed; a flexible wiring board extending from a connection end portion with respect to the first translucent substrate; and a metal-reinforced resin container. The container includes a first principal surface onto which the liquid crystal panel is accommodated; a second principal surface onto which a printed wiring board is disposed; and a through hole for allowing an extended end portion of the flexible wiring board to pass therethrough from the first principal surface to the second principal surface so that the extended end portion is connected to the printed wiring board. The through hole is provided at a position corresponding to an overlapping portion between the first translucent substrate and the second translucent substrate.
