  • Patent number: 8629797
Abstract: A switched capacitor circuit, which is operable in two or more kinds of operation modes including a first and second operation modes, includes an amplifier and two or more internal capacitors with switches for controlling connection/disconnection of the capacitor. In the first operation mode that precedes the second operation mode, the switched capacitor circuit generates the first analog output voltage by using the first internal capacitor connected between an input terminal and output terminal of the amplifier by using its switches, the other internal capacitances connected between an input terminal of the amplifier and each analog input voltage supply by using its switches. In the second operation mode, the switched capacitor circuit generates the second analog output voltage with larger feedback factor of the amplifier than it in the first operation mode, by removing some of the internal capacitors, except the first internal capacitor, from the first operation mode.

  • Patent number: 7756897
Abstract: A topic net management unit 1 reads one record from a table to generate the topic net (S1). Subsequently, from among the field data in the record, the unit 1 generates nodes corresponding to the field data for which a corresponding topic class exists (S2). Topics corresponding to those nodes are generated. If a node having the same topic is already generated, then the unit 1 does not newly generate a node having a duplicate topic (S2). The unit 1 mutually links the generated topics in accordance with the definitions between the topic classes (S3). Further, using a dialog information template, the unit 1 generates dialog information associated with the generated link (S4). The unit 1 performs Steps S1-S4 processing for all records in the table (S5). If there is a plurality of tables Steps S1-S5 processing is performed for all tables (S6).

  • Patent number: 7502494
Abstract: The CPU of a face orientation detection apparatus which acquires an image frame photographed by a camera through a cable detects the face region in the horizontal direction of the acquired image frame by executing computer programs stored on a hard disk. Moreover, the CPU detects the eye position in the vertical direction from the image frame, and detects the nose position in the horizontal direction based on the detected eye position. Furthermore, the CPU detects the orientation of the face included in the image frame, based on the detected nose position and face region.

  • Patent number: 6064236
Abstract: Disclosed are a phase detector for detecting the phase difference between a data signal and a clock signal, and a timing extracting circuit for controlling the phase of the clock signal so that the phase relationship between the clock signal and the data signal is optimal by using the phase detector. The phase detector includes an edge detector for generating an edge signal at the rising edge and the falling edge of the data signal, and a D flip flop (D-FF) for storing and outputting the logical value of the clock signal at the time of generation of the edge signal, and holding the logical value until the generation of the next edge signal, thereby outputting a signal corresponding to the phase difference between the data signal and the clock signal. A clock generator in the timing extracting circuit having a PLL structure controls the phase of the clock signal so that the difference becomes optimal.
