Abstract: A chassis with built-in handles which do not add to dimensional clearance required for the chassis to be placed in a cavity includes a side plate, a mounting unit, and a handle. A mounting groove is defined on the side plate. The mounting unit is coupled to the side plate. The handle is partially clamped by the side plate and the mounting unit, and rotatably coupled with the side plate. By rotating the handle, the handle can be stored at least flush in the mounting groove.

Abstract: A method for allocating a drive letter to hot-swapped, newly-inserted, or doubly-identified hard disks obtains a number of hard disks connected and information of each device, the device information comprises slot information of the hard disk. A transitional drive letter is allocated to the hard disk according to their number and information of those devices, the transitional drive letter comprises a slot number corresponding to the slot information. A system drive letter is reallocated to the hard disk according to an order of the drive letter issued as a transitional drive letter. An electronic device and a non-volatile storage medium therein, for performing the above-described method, are also disclosed.

Abstract: A method for starting hard disks, applied in an electronic device, the method includes: starting a storage in the electronic device, and the storage comprising hard disks and a backplane extension chip; sending preset request signals by the hard disks to the backplane extension chip; verifying a number of the hard disks by the backplane expansion chip according to the request signals; when the number of the hard disks is verified successfully, performing type verification on the hard disks by the backplane expansion chip; and sending a start signal by the backplane expansion chip to the target hard disks having a successful type verification according to a preset start sequence and a preset number of the hard disks, to start the target hard disks.

Abstract: A two-phase immersion cooling device includes an upper box body, a lower box body, a plurality of heating elements, and a condenser. The walls of the upper box body form a first cavity. The lower box body defines a second cavity containing coolant. The heating elements are disposed in the second cavity and immersing in the coolant. The condenser in the upper box body includes multiple rows and columns of condensing tubes, is arranged across or along the upper box body to fill the first cavity. The lower box body is detachably and hermetically connected to the bottom of the upper box body, connecting the second cavity with the first cavity to form an accommodating cavity.

Abstract: A support frame includes first and second mounting members, and an adjusting member. The second mounting member defines a groove. One groove wall of the groove defines a plurality of positioning holes. The adjusting member includes a base body, a sliding member, and an elastic member. The base body is disposed on the first mounting member, and at least a part of the base body is accommodated in the groove. The sliding member is slidably disposed on the base body and includes a clamping body. The elastic member is disposed on the sliding member, and the elastic member can drive the sliding member to engage the clamping body with one of the plurality of positioning holes. When the support frame is in a cabinet, an interior installation size of the cabinet is adjustable for any particular relative position between the first and second mounting members.

Abstract: A method to improve the updating of firmware in a firmware updating system, uses serially-sent data packets containing the update and data. The firmware updating system includes storage, including an expander/switch, a baseboard manager controller (BMC), and a storage interface. A universal asynchronous receiver/transmitter (UART) for serial communication in the expander/switch is initialized and firmware updating instruction is sent to the expander/switch by the BMC. The firmware data packets are sent to the expander/switch by the BMC. A serial instruction to reset is sent to the expander/switch by the BMC and the BMC ends a communication with the UART serial. A firmware updating system applying the method is also provided.

Abstract: A carrier assembly for installing a hard disk drive (HDD) rapidly without tools or screws or other fasteners disk includes a bracket and a carrier. The carrier is movably disposed within the bracket. The hard disk drive is disposed with the carrier. The bracket includes a side plate and a plurality of first protrusions arranged on the side plate along with electrical connectors. The side plate defines interconnecting slots, a vertical first slot and a horizontal second slot. The carrier includes a lateral plate, a rotating handle connected to the lateral plate, and second protrusions arranged on the lateral plate. When the rotating handle is manually rotated, the second protrusion becomes locked within the first slot or the second slot to fix the HDD in place.

Abstract: A coolant guiding structure can guide a coolant to a plurality of electronic components spaced from each other. The coolant guiding structure includes a housing, a plurality of first baffles, a plurality of second baffles, and a plurality of spoiler assemblies. The housing includes a liquid inlet and a liquid outlet. The liquid inlet can introduce the coolant into the housing, and the liquid outlet can discharge the coolant out of the housing. A first opening is formed between two adjacent first baffles, a second opening is formed between two adjacent second baffles, and a guide channel is formed between the first opening and the second opening. Each first baffle and a corresponding second baffle can accommodate one electronic component therebetween. At least two spoiler assemblies are disposed in the guide channel. The present disclosure further provides an electronic assembly.

Abstract: An automatic testing method includes obtaining a positioning image, analyzing position of a plurality of slots of the test motherboard in the positioning image to generate route information for insertion and testing of components; wherein photographing test motherboard and obtaining positioning image focused on the test motherboard, controlling the clamping device to insert a plurality of the components into the slots according to the route information, controlling the test motherboard to test the components, determining if there is a faulty component, controlling the clamping device to withdraw and insert the components into other slots according to the route information and controlling the test motherboard to retest the components again if there is no faulty component. An automatic testing device and a non-volatile storage medium performing the above-described method are also disclosed.

Abstract: A fixing assembly and an electronic device including same are disclosed. The fixing assembly includes a supporting member, a locking member, and a latching member. The supporting member includes a first supporting portion and a second supporting portion connected with each other, and the second supporting portion defines a sliding slot. The locking member includes a locking portion and a connecting portion connected with each other, the connecting portion includes a protrusion and a latching hole. The protrusion is slidably arranged in the sliding slot. When the protrusion slides along the sliding slot, the locking member slides and then rotates relative to the supporting member. The latching member is arranged on the second supporting portion and is adapted to be inserted into the latching hole. When the latching member is inserted into the latching hole, the fan is sandwiched and held between the first supporting portion and the locking portion.

Abstract: A method, a system, and a server for monitoring status of SSD applied in the server allows a volume management device which has been disabled because of conflict to be used to maintain unchanged information of power indicating control bit when an SSD is unplugged. The unchanged information of power indicating control bit is transmitted to a CPLD and decoder information is obtained from the CPLD. Position of the SSD in the register is set according to the decoder information.

Abstract: A server chassis includes a housing, a support frame, and a back plate. The housing includes a substrate. A fixing portion is vertically disposed on the substrate and is fixedly connected with the back plate. The support frame is fixedly connected with the substrate. A first protrusion is disposed on the support frame and is inserted into the back plate. The interior of the server chassis is rendered more compact, and the server chassis can accommodate eight hard disks. A server including the server chassis is also disclosed.

Abstract: A cable management device in a server chassis able to hold and safeguard a greatly extended range of cable lengths, and server chassis including same, comprises connecting assembly, sliding rail assembly, and cable management assembly. The sliding rail assembly includes parallel first and second sliding rails, the first sliding rail including outer, middle, and inner rails, and the second sliding rail including similar outer, middle, and inner rails. The assembly includes first to fourth sliding arms, together with a supporting bar. The first sliding arm is movably connected to the outer rail of the second sliding rail, and the fourth sliding arm is movably connected to the inner rail of the first sliding rail. One end of the supporting bar is connected to the middle rail of the first sliding rail, the other end is connected to the middle rail of the second sliding rail.

The first connector includes a first cavity and a first protrusion in the first cavity. The second connector includes a second cavity and a second protrusion in the second cavity. The sliding member extends into the second cavity and abuts the locking member to drive the locking member to move toward the first protrusion and the second protrusion so that two opposite side walls of the fastening groove press against opposite sides of the first protrusion and the second protrusion. The sliding member defines a latching slot. The holding member includes a latching member for latching in or disengaging from the latching slot.

The functional module is inserted into the circuit board. The module fixing device is connected to the functional module and is connected to the circuit board. The module fixing device comprises a clamping member and an elastic member. The clamping member is movably connected to the circuit board in a first direction and a second direction opposite to the first direction, the clamping member comprises a first clamping portion to clamp the functional module. The elastic member is connected to the clamping member, the elastic member is deformable in the first direction to drive the clamping member to move in the first direction to clamp the functional module.

Abstract: An anti-theft lock includes an engaging member arranged on a chassis, a latch module including a connecting member and a latch coupled to the connecting member, a fixing module coupled to the connecting member, a magnetic module arranged on the top cover and used to cooperate with the fixing module to control movement of the connecting member, and an unlocking mechanism including magnetic members. The connecting member is movably arranged on a top cover. The latch is engaged with or separated from the engaging member through movement of the connecting member. The magnetic members are attracted to or repelled from the magnetic module so that the magnetic module fixes or loosens the connecting member. When the connecting member can move, the latch is disengaged from and separated from the engaging member.

Abstract: A method for identifying a connection slot used by a hard disk includes determining the name of a program or system kernel connected to a hard disk; determining slot information corresponding to the kernel name; generating a soft link relating the kernel name to the slot information. The soft link has a relationship with and coexists with the kernel name. A terminal device and a non-volatile storage medium therein, for performing the above-described method, are also disclosed.

Abstract: A low-profile and small-size valve to a shut off a flow of fluid in a pipeline includes a frame, a tube, a moving part, a lever, an elastic part, a latch, and a trigger. The tube is movable with the moving part. The lever is rotatable around an axis. The elastic part can push the lever to rotate after the trigger pushes the buckle away from the lever to unlatch the lever and allow rotation. During the rotation of the lever, the lever pulls on the moving part, and the moving part pulls on the tube together to disconnect the tube from the pipe. The valve improves the convenience and efficiency of shutting off a flow of fluid. A pipeline and an immersion cooling system is also disclosed.

Abstract: A method for optimizing a process of displaying video streams with specified event receives video streams. The video streams are sequenced based on a specified arrangement role to from a video stream queue. By analyzing each video streams, whether each video stream includes a specified event is determined. If each video stream without the specified event, the video streams are outputted based on the video stream queue. If the video stream includes the specified event, the video stream with the specified event is adjusted to be priority in the video stream queue, and the video streams are outputted based on the updated video stream queue. The video streams with the specified event can be prioritized processed and focus. A video stream processing apparatus and a computer readable storage medium applying the method are also provided.
