Abstract: An article made by composite material includes a body made of reinforced fiber. The body has at least two opposing sidewalls. A foam component is embeddedly disposed in each sidewall. Owing to the two foam components, the finished composite structure is lightweight and has high mechanical strength.

Abstract: A fibrous composite frame includes at least one frame unit. The frame unit has two components and at least one shaft formed by combining the two components. Each of the components has a foam core that is made of a foam material and a fiber composite outer layer that wraps the foam core from outside and is made of a fiber composite material. The fiber composite outer layer has a combining surface, and the two components are such fixedly combined at the combining surfaces of the fiber composite outer layers that the two components are substantially symmetrical about where the two components are combined. Thereby, the fiber composite bicycle frame is lightweight, unlikely to break and easy to produce. Also, the fiber composite material is more likely to be set compactly.

Abstract: A wheel frame of the fiber composite material includes multiple arched frame bars each including a foam body made out of a foam material and a fiber composite cover layer made out of a fiber composite material and wrapped about the foam body, the arched frame bars being joined together by means of connection surface portions of the fiber composite cover layers thereof to form a circular wheel frame, the connection surface portions of each two adjacent arched frame bars forming a support face to work as a support rib supporting the wheel frame. Thus, the fiber composite wheel frame has the characteristic of lightweight and will not easily break.
