Patents Assigned to Funal Electric Co., Ltd.
  • Patent number: 7714259
Abstract: A video projector (1) comprises a projection lens (18) which projects an image on a screen (S), a zoom ring (19) which varies a magnification ratio of the projection lens (18), a drive wheel (32) which is partially protruded from a bottom face of a housing (2), and a plurality of gears (310, 311, 312) that constitutes a power transmission mechanism (31) between the drive wheel (32) and the zoom ring (19). When the video projector (1) is moved in an anteroposterior direction to the screen with rotating the drive wheel (32), the zoom ring (19) is turned in conjunction with the rotation of the drive wheel (32) through the power transmission mechanism (31). Since the magnification ratio of the projection lens (18) is varied with the turning of the zoom ring (19), the size of the image projected on the screen is varied without a direct operation of the zoom ring (19) by a user.

  • Patent number: 7679159
Abstract: Each of three light receiving sections has a P-type well having a P+-type layer and an N-type layer formed therein. The P+-type layer is diffused from substrate surface to depth d1. A PN junction forming portion of the N-type layer is diffused from depth d1 to depth d2 which is greater than depth d1 so as to form, with the P-type well, a PN junction of a photodiode at depth d2. Depths d1 as well as depths d2 of the three light receiving sections are different from each other. The N-type layer has a charge output portion which is diffused from the PN junction to the substrate surface, and which is coupled by circuit coupling to a MOS transistor for reading out charge. This allows each light receiving section to have spectral characteristics, thereby providing a solid state imaging element and a solid state imaging device without using color filters.

  • Publication number: 20080310763
Abstract: A network system in which a client device is connected to a server via a LAN. A CPU in the client device obtains date data of respective still picture files from the respective servers and generates representative thumbnail picture. Subsequently, the CPU in the client device generates a directory of a still picture taken on each photographing date, associates the directory with the thumbnail picture of the representative picture of each photographing date, and then displays a list of the representative thumbnail pictures. When a user selects the representative thumbnail picture which is taken on a date identical with a desired still picture from the respective thumbnail pictures, the CPU in the client device obtains all still pictures which are to be stored in the directory associated with the selected representative thumbnail picture from a storage medium in the server, and then generates thumbnail pictures of the still pictures.

  • Publication number: 20080068452
Abstract: A panoramic imaging device comprises: a lens array with lenses in a matrix; an imaging element; and prisms for mirror-reflecting lights entering in left/right ranges in a capture range to guide them to side lenses in left/right columns. Light in a front range is inverted up/down by center lenses and formed as up/down inverted images on the imaging element. Lights in the left/right ranges are inverted up/down and left/right by the prisms with the side lenses and formed as up/down and left/right inverted images on the imaging element. The images in the left/right ranges are read in one direction. The images in the front range are read in an opposite direction. The read images are combined as is, without inverting the images, to reproduce a panoramic image. This can prevent the entire device from becoming large in volume, and imaging processing from becoming complex.

  • Patent number: 7292287
Abstract: To fix a TV (electrical apparatus mounted) having a power cord (insulated electric wire) to a DVD player (mounting body) when the TV is mounted on the DVD player, the DVD player is provided with a main body (a part of a main body) and a hook member fixed to the main body. The position on the main body at which the hook member is fixed is changeable, and the cord is securely wound around the hook member. This arrangement is convenient, eliminating the necessity of separately preparing a member such as a belt, while enabling to easily and securely fix, to a mounting body, various types of TVs having respective attaching positions where an insulated electric wire is attached, to effectively prevent the TV from falling down in the event of an accident such as an earthquake.

  • Patent number: 7283179
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a video signal process circuit that includes a control circuit having a level detection circuit and a dynamic range switch circuit. In the control circuit and a microcomputer, an average luminance of an image displayed on a liquid crystal panel via a liquid crystal driver circuit is detected. When the average luminance is equal to or over a level YSmax, an upper limit of the dynamic range is expanded, so that a signal level of a composite video signal in which white blur can occur can be digitized to a digital signal without being limited by the upper limit gradation, reducing the white blur of the image to improve the quality of the image.
