Abstract: A system and a method for compensating misalignments of a die for cutting cardboard of a die cutter. The system comprises a processor configured to detect height-correcting elements in an image of a correction template for the die, and further configured to produce a digital file comprising a digital representation of detected height-correcting elements; and an optical device for projecting images configured to project the digital representation of the digital file on a pressure compensation plate of the die cutter. The method comprises digitally detecting height-correcting elements in an image of a correction template for the die; producing a digital representation of detected height-correcting elements; and projecting the digital representation on a pressure compensation plate of the die cutter.

Abstract: A method for orienting reflectors of a communications system in a zone, wherein the communications system includes an antenna and the reflectors. The antenna is operable in one or more frequencies in a frequency range from 0.1 THz to 10.0 THz, with each of the reflectors being spaced apart from each other and the antenna. The method includes the steps of digitally predicting a future motor vehicle density distribution in the zone based on obtained past motor vehicle density distributions in the zone; digitally computing an orientation of each reflector such that the estimated power reception of electromagnetic waves radiated by the antenna is globally maximized for each motor vehicle of the future motor vehicle density distribution; and orienting each reflector according to the digitally computed orientation.
