  • Patent number: 9731626
Abstract: The section insulator for rigid conductor rails has conductive runners, a ramp and an insulating runner, each connected to one conductor rail. The conductor runners (7, 7?) and the ramps (11, 11?) are connected to one another at one end and at their other ends to the conductor rail, wherein the latter mentioned ends are offset relative to each other in the longitudinal direction (3). The two conductor rails (1, 2) are rigidly and torsion-resistantly connected to one another by insulating profiles (5, 6). Insulating runners (14, 14?) are attached to the insulating profiles opposite the respective conductive runner, so that a current collector is properly guided when passing by. An insulating spacing is present between the ends of the conductive runners (7, 7?) and the ends of the closest insulating runner (14, 14?).

  • Patent number: 9233626
Abstract: The busbar for holding a contact wire of electrically driven vehicles has an elongate, integral box profile which is slotted in the longitudinal direction and has two mutually opposite spring-elastic tensioning arms and spring-elastic clamping arms fitted at the ends of the tensioning arms. In order to prevent corrosion as the result of condensation water, bores (26, 27) are introduced into the clamping arms (7, 8) and are close to tips (9, 10) of the clamping arms, which tips are held by a contact wire (2). Preferably, these bores (26, 27) are fitted in pairs and have a distance of one third of the total length of the busbar from the respective end of the busbar.

  • Patent number: 8887883
Abstract: For the coupling of two parallel contact wires of an elastic contact line system with a rigid contact line system, which has a power track (3) and a contact wire (4) affixed thereon, an elongated cantilever (5) is provided in a transition area, whose rigidity increases in the longitudinal direction from the elastic contact line system to the rigid contact line system. The two contact wires (1, 2) of the elastic contact line system are located along the cantilever parallel to the first contact wire (4), which is, in turn, clamped over the entire length of the cantilever. All three contact wires (1, 2, 4) are affixed on several multiple clamps (9) in the area of the cantilever (5), which clamps are located in a distributed manner along the cantilever. The multiple clamps (9) are located in recesses (12) of the cantilever.

  • Publication number: 20140144672
Abstract: A section insulator for two aligned rigid conductor rails, wherein the section insulator forms a closed system in that, in the extension of each conductor rail, a conductive runner and an insulating runner rigidly connected to the conductive runner are connected to the opposing conductor rail. The lower side of the runners, facing the travel plane, is arranged in a contact plane. All of the runners are also height-adjustable in relation to the conductor rails.

  • Patent number: 6938742
Abstract: A conductor rail fishplate for the electrical and mechanical connection of successive conductor rails has two symmetrical plates, which encompass the exterior of the conductor rail. The two plates are tensioned against one another using screws. Contact strips are arranged in the contact zone between the conductor rail and the respective plates, the strips coming into contact with the respective surfaces by means of a large number of spring-loaded contacts.

  • Patent number: 6206156
Abstract: The contact rail assembly (1) for electrically driven vehicles has two essentially rigid contact rails (2, 2′, 44) which are arranged in a line in the travel direction and are separated by a distance (L1). Two transition horns (6, 6′, 45a, 45b) extend into the intermediate transition region, wherein one transition horn (6, 6′, 45a, 45b) is attached to each of the contact rails (2, 2′, 44). On one section (L2) of the transition region there are the transition horns (6, 6′, 45a, 45b) that run parallel to each other separated by a distance (L3) and at an angle to the contact rail (2, 2′, 44) and essentially parallel to the plane of travel of the vehicle, whereby the width of the transition horns (6, 6′, 45a, 45b) is less than the width of the contact rails (2, 2′, 44).
