Abstract: A portable electronic device, methods of controlling the portable electronic device and computer readable medium are provided. The portable electronic device includes a network interface, a memory storage unit and a processor for carrying out a method. A method involves generating audio output, receiving an input corresponding to a sleep detection request, detecting another input associated with a sleep detection process, and terminating generation of the audio output. Another method involves loading a pointer value stored in the memory storage unit, loading the audiobook associated with the pointer, setting a second time-position of the audiobook associated with the pointer value, and generating audio output. The computer readable medium directs a processor to carry out a method.
