  • Patent number: 10781511
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a golf club head includes aging heat treat a sheet material made of a titanium alloy at 650-750° C. for 10-12 hours to obtain an aging heat treated sheet material. The aging heat treated sheet material is hot rolled to form a striking plate. The striking plate is annealed at 700-800° C. for 30-60 minutes to obtain an annealed striking plate. The annealed striking plate is welded to a club head body made of the titanium alloy to form a semi product. The semi product of the golf head is annealed at 500-700° C. for 30-240 minutes to obtain the golf club head. Thus, the golf club head with a Young's modulus higher than 119 GPa can be manufactured.

  • Patent number: 10486223
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a golf club head includes providing a club head body produced by electric smelting an alloy base material including 0.04-0.07 wt % of carbon, 0.5-1.0 wt % of manganese, 0.5-1.0 wt % of silicon, less than 0.04 wt % of phosphorus, less than 0.03 wt % of sulfur, 15-17.7 wt % of chromium, 3.6-5.1 wt % of nickel, 2.8-3.5 wt % of copper, with the rest being iron and inevitable impurities. A solid solution treatment is proceeded at 1020-1080° C. for 80-100 minutes to form austenite and martensite in the club head body. A deep cooling treatment is proceeded between ?120° C. and ?80° C. for 7-9 hours to turn the austenite in the club head body into martensite. An aging treatment is proceeded on the club head body at 460-500° C. for 210-270 minutes to provide a hardness of HRC 36-46. A hosel is heated with high frequency waves at 900-1000° C. to posses a hardness lower than HRC 20.

  • Patent number: 9687704
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a high-strength blade-type golf iron head with a thin blade includes placing a shell mold onto a rotary table. At least one metal ingot is placed into a crucible portion of the shell mold and is heated to melt in a vacuum environment. The rotary table rotates to cause the molten metal to flow into a cavity portion of the shell mold. The rotating shaft is slowly stopped, and the shell mold is removed after pouring. The shell mold is destroyed after the molten metal cools and solidifies, obtaining a casting. A cast product portion is separated from the casting to obtain at least one blade-type golf iron head having the blade with a minimum thickness of 3.5-5.0 mm. The weight of the blade-type golf iron head is reduced by 0.9-2.5%, and the center of gravity of the blade-type golf iron head is lowered by 0.2-0.75 mm.
