    Abstract: A computer-implemented method for processing a data packet in a network node includes determining a level of deterioration of a primary path between the network node and the destination node. The determined level of deterioration is based at least on a non-congestion-related loss for a primary link associated with one or more subsequent hops of the data packet from the network node toward the destination node along the primary path. Based on the determined level of deterioration of the primary path being above a threshold, the primary path is changed to an alternate path from the network node to the destination node. The data packet is forwarded to a next network node on the alternate path.

The network node may use the LSP label to locate the forwarding table associated with the primary egress node. The service label may be used to deliver the data packet to a destination node according to the forwarding table associated with the primary egress node.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this disclosure provide techniques for securely communicating an IMSI over the air from a UE to an SeAN, as well as for securely validating an unencrypted IMSI that the SeAN receives from the home network, during authentication protocols. In particular, the UE may either encrypt the IMSI assigned to the UE using an IMSI encryption key (KIMSIenc) or compute a hash of the IMSI assigned to the UE using an IMSI integrity key (KIMSIint), and then send the encrypted IMSI or the hash of the IMSI to the serving network. The encrypted IMSI or hash of the encrypted IMSI may then be used by the SeAN to validate an unencrypted IMSI that was previously received from an HSS in the home network of the UE.

A narrowband (NB) subframe may span a portion of the selected WB micro-frame in the frequency-domain, and the selected WB micro-frame may overlap at least a portion of the NB subframe in the time-domain. The WB signal and an NB signal may be transmitted over the WB micro-frame and the NB subframe in accordance with a first numerology and a second numerology, respectively. A WB subframe may be divided into a plurality of micro-frames. The transmission direction of the WB micro-frame may be scheduled according to a transmission rule based on the contents of a payload in the NB subframe.
