    Abstract: Methods and apparatus for coordinating inter-frequency measurement gaps in a wireless network are disclosed. In various embodiments, a measurement gap pattern is determined and provided (via a serving frequency) to a user equipment (UE) in conjunction with frequency identification information identifying at least one target frequency. In accordance with the measurement gap pattern, the UE tunes a receiver to the target frequency and receives a reference signal upon which measurement operations are performed. Additional target frequencies can also be specified for the measurement gap pattern. In other embodiments, the frequency identification information identifies a band of target frequencies, any of which can be measured using the measurement gap pattern. In further embodiments, target frequencies employing overlapping reference signals are grouped into a timing group indicated by the frequency identification information.

    Abstract: A method for reducing a peak to average power ratio (PAPR) of an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signal. A first signal in the frequency domain is processed to generate a second signal by performing a modular permutation on the first signal according to a modular permutation index, and/or by performing a cyclic shift on the first signal according to a cyclic shift parameter. The second signal is then mapped to a number of tones, and transformed into a time-domain signal for transmission. The modular permutation index and/or the cyclic shift parameter are selected so that the signal for transmission has a PAPR that satisfies a predefined PAPR criteria.

The method obtains a source vertex and a destination vertex for a VR device. The source vertex and the destination vertex include vertices of a graph model of a navigable space having a plurality of vertices. The vertices represent a point within the navigable space and the plurality of edges represent a path segment between two corresponding vertices. A subset of possible vertices, selected from the plurality of vertices, is determined for a navigable path. A vertex traffic potential is determined for each vertex of the subset of possible vertices. The navigable path, including one or more consecutive path segments selected to minimize both segment path lengths and vertex traffic potentials, is determined from the source vertex to the destination vertex.
