  • Patent number: 11855807
Abstract: A compact wireless Internet of Things (IOT) gateway for use with industrial internal combustion engines having an engine control module (ECM). The IOT gateway incorporates components, such as a cellular modem and cellular antenna, that enable the IOT gateway to receive, process, and transmit data, particularly performance data related to the engine on which the IOT gateway is mounted. The IOT gateway includes both male and female connectors for connecting to both an ECM and a wire harness assembly on the internal combustion engine. Features of the IOT gateway enable remote monitoring of electronic performance data of the internal combustion engine, as well as updating and reconfiguring control software of the internal combustion engine.

  • Patent number: 11812521
Abstract: An Internet of Things (IoT) gateway integrated into a real-time monitoring system for skid-mounted natural gas compression systems. The IoT gateway enables remote monitoring, troubleshooting, and diagnosing of natural gas compression systems by providing access to cellular and satellite communication networks for communicating operational data to one or more remote servers. The IoT gateway can be configured to select a communication network based on an order of priority and other various criteria. The order of priority and the selection criteria may be updated over the air. The IoT gateway can be further configured to receive and relay software and other updates to one or more components of the natural gas compression system. The IoT gateway is configured to meet various regulatory compliance standards and is explosion proof.

  • Publication number: 20220299023
Abstract: A real-time monitoring system for skid-mounted reciprocating natural gas compressors. The system not only monitors performance and makes analytical diagnostic predictions of potentially problematic valves and such, but also has alert system for real-time monitoring, troubleshooting and diagnosing of such natural gas compressors—both locally and remotely. Operators can more efficiently and effectively manage maintenance and operation of the skid-mounted compressors with the implementation of LED equipped sensors that allow operators to locally quickly identify valves and other components requiring maintenance. Additionally, operators can remotely identify and understand deviations from optimal performance with the implementation of color-coded soft gauges.

  • Patent number: 11280933
Abstract: Systems and methods for enabling an augmented reality device to easily collect, analyze, transmit, and act on wireless information transmitted from various instruments on hydrocarbon production and pipeline skids. The augmented reality device preferentially presents and records available data streams from the various instruments on the hydrocarbon production and pipeline skids in an augmented reality user interface. The augmented reality user interface preferentially presents such data streams as readings from the various instruments in an easy-to-read, color-coded display, wherein the color coding relates to various in-tolerance and out-of-tolerance ranges related to each of the various instruments.
