Abstract: Provided is a transmission system including: a planetary gear, a first-side mechanism including a chamber and a first-side shaft connected to the chamber, at least one transfer arrangement, including a transfer mechanism and a transfer shaft connected thereto and a second-side mechanism including a second-side shaft. The planetary gear includes a planet carrier, at least one planet gear mounted thereon and at least one of a sun gear and a ring gear. The chamber is fluidly coupled to the transfer mechanism for transfer of rotary motion therebetween. The chamber is connected to one of the gear elements: a planet carrier, a sun gear, or a ring gear, the transfer shaft is connected to one of the gear elements: a planet carrier, a planet gear, a sun gear, or a ring gear, and the second-side shaft is connected to one of the gear elements: a planet carrier, a sun gear, or a ring gear.
Abstract: Disclosed are means for monitoring the levels of air pollution in urban areas for the purpose of optimizing the conditions of airflow ventilation of buildings according to air pollution levels in their area. The invention supplies data in real time regarding local air pollution levels or relative levels, i.e. current air pollution levels in relation to previous ones. The disclosed system and method makes use of the fluctuations in air pollution levels in order to achieve optimal reduction of air pollution levels inside buildings. The system defines optimal times for ventilation in order to achieve a significant and persisting improvement of indoor air quality, in a routine manner, by using measurements of nondeterministic, continuous and effective fluctuations in air pollution levels at the surroundings of each building, specifically in locations which don't include monitoring stations.
Abstract: A milling head particularly useful for cutting sharp interior corners in a workpiece, includes a rotary shaft coupleable to the rotary drive of a milling machine so as to be rotatable about the shaft longitudinal axis; and a conical cutter member coupled to the rotary shaft so as to be rotated thereby about a rotary axis at an angle with respect to the shaft longitudinal axis. Preferably, the conical cutter member defines a cone angle of 70 degrees, and its rotary axis is 55 degrees with respect to the longitudinal axis of the shaft. The conical cutter member is disposed within a case and is aligned with an opening in the case, such that the external surface of the case, engageable with the workpiece, is effective to align the conical cutter member with respect to the surface of the workpiece to be milled, and to enable the conical cutter member to cut sharp internal corners in all three dimensions.
Abstract: A cutter tool for a milling machine head, includes a conical cutter member defining a cone angle of substantially 70°. In one embodiment, the conical cutter member has a pointed apex, and in another embodiment, it has a rounded apex. Also described is an attachment for a milling machine head, wherein the conical cutter member is coupled at an angle of substantially 55° with respect to the axis of the milling machine head.
