    Abstract: A creasing device includes a frame with a substantially horizontal support surface for supporting an article to be creased; a movable tool; and a stationary tool, the latter comprising a stationary member and at least one displaceable member whose height relative to the stationary member can be adjusted. A first actuator moves the movable tool toward the stationary tool and interacts with opposite faces of the article, and a second actuator translates the displaceable member between a first end position in which interacts with the movable tool and a second end position in which it cannot interact with the movable tool. Guide means associated with the stationary tool guides the displaceable member between the first end position and the second end position. The guide means are have a curvilinear path contained in a plane substantially perpendicular to the support surface.

Each insert comprises a cylindrical body with a hook-shaped end portion defined by an upper edge with a sharp tip designed to penetrate the block back in a perpendicular cut. The end portion comprises a recessed surface adapted to tear and push downwards the cut material without removing it.

    Abstract: A machine for coating granular articles and the like includes a rotating drum or a coating pan (1), which receives a predetermined mass of articles to be treated. The machine includes also a tubular manifold (4), whose axis is parallel to the axis of said coating pan (1) and which communicates with an outer first pipe (5). A plurality of perforated hollow bodies (14) extend from said manifold (4) and are dipped into the moving mass of the articles to be treated. A second pipe (6) communicates with the coating pan (1), so as to create a flow of air for ventilating the articles. The perforated hollow bodies (14) are telescopic, so as to allow adjustment of their length in order to change the depth of penetration thereof in the moving mass of the articles inside the coating pan (1). The perforated hollow bodies (14) have a distal part (14b), which is inclined with respect to the hollow body vertical axis and whose cross-section is oblong with pointed ends.

    Abstract: The device comprises a base for positioning a tire and a lever pivoted on a support and able to move and be fixed in position along a plane which is radial with respect to the center of the base. An active end of the lever, located on an L-shaped bend at an end of the lever, can be introduced internally of the opening to interact contactingly with the internal surface of a part of the support ring pre-inserted in the opening. By acting on the lever, the active end presses the ring against the inside of the tire with radial force. The support ring is of a type which when applied on a vehicle wheel enables the vehicle to continue moving for a considerable time even where tire pressure is suddenly lost.

    Abstract: The process of the invention can be used for measuring angles characteristic of wheels of a motor vehicle, in which a light signal is produced by a light beam having a predetermined direction with respect to which an angle to be measured is measured, the angle being formed between the direction of the light beam and a reference axis of the goniometer which reference axis is perpendicular to the linear optical sensor. The linear optical sensor is constituted by a plurality of contiguous and aligned photo-sensitive elements, by means of which elements an image of the light signal can be read. The image is constituted by an ordered totality of intensities of incident radiations recorded on the photo-sensitive elements. Measurement of the angle is a direct function of a distance of the image from an origin for measurement of distances in longitudinal direction, which is defined by an intersection of the reference axis with a longitudinal axis of the sensor.

    Abstract: The device is used for facilitating a tire fitting and is usable in combination with a self-centering platform, rotatable about an axis, and with a fitting tool. The device is constituted by an auxiliary tool provided with a frame and having a lower free end which is removably constrainable to the self-centering platform. The frame comprises a support which, when the free end is constrained to the platform, is vertical, lateral and external of the wheel. A pusher element is connected to the support and can move in a parallel direction to a longitudinal axis of the support. The pusher element interacts contactingly with a tire wall situated facing upwards and forces an upper bead to remain below an upper edge of the rim during rotation of the self-centering platform in order to achieve tire fitting.

A retaining organ exhibits a hole in which a vertical rod which is solidly constrained to the arm is inserted with a predetermined degree of play. The retaining organ is hinged to the stem in such a way as to be able to assume at least one locked position in which it prevents the stem from rising.
