  • Patent number: 11946231
Abstract: An improved system and method for controlling turf grading equipment is described. The system comprises a turf grading device wherein the turf grading device is moved longitudinally over an area and the turf grading device comprises a left side and a right side with each side being able to independently move vertically and in concert provide a motion of pitch and yaw. The system includes a control system wherein the control system controls movement of the left side and the right side independently. The control system comprises a controller interface capable of selecting between a manual override mode and a module selection mode wherein the module selection mode selected from a grade adjust laser mode, a grade adjust autograde mode, a grade adjust autodepth mode and a grade adjust slope mode.

  • Patent number: 11098461
Abstract: A turfplaner is described comprising a rotational elongated cutter capable of independently altering a cut height of the rotational cutter based on a deviation between cut height and a desired cut profile. A hierarchical controller is in functional communication with the lift mechanism and a laser or GPS guidance system. The laser or GPS receiver is capable of receiving the planer laser beam or GPS signal and the hierarchical controller is capable of determining and minimizing a deviation between the cut height and the desired cut profile based on the laser or GPS receiver location relative to the planer laser beam or GPS signal. At least one autograde device and an autodepth device are in functional communication with the hierarchical controller to activate either on grade, below grade, or above grade control mode.

  • Patent number: 7992649
Abstract: A turf leveling device including a metering blade together with first and second horizontal and parallel main blades separated by first and second open distances. The blades are supported by a frame with spaced frame arms adapted to provide three point hitch attachment points. Skid plates mounted on left and right sides of the frame prevent the metering blade from scrapping or cutting elevated areas of the turf surface. The metering blade and the first and second main blades with deflectors effectively redistribute and level the gathered material. A vertically adjustable verticutting knife roller having keyed knife discs extending through slots in a grating insert is preferably disposed in the first open distance.
