Abstract: Apparatus for removing gases from a container used to prepare concentrates of a powder in water are disclosed including a supply conduit for supplying water to the container, a removal conduit for removing the concentrate from the container, a pump including a negative pressure side, an evacuation conduit for connecting the negative pressure side of the pump with the container, an actuatable valve disposed in the evacuation conduit whereby upon actuation the actuatable valve connects the container with the negative pressure side of the pump, an indicator for indicating when the container includes a predetermined amount of the gases, and a control mechanism for actuating the valve in response to the indicator to eliminate the gases from the container.
