Abstract: A computer-implemented method may involve obtaining, for an iteration of a computation that includes a first and a second calculation, a first input signal and a second input signal. In response to obtaining the first and second input signals and based thereon, parameters of the computation may be modified within a predetermined period of time that simulates real-time operation of an apparatus. Modifying the parameters may involve generating a first output signal that is statistically proportional to the combination of the first and second input signals, generating a second output signal that represents an expected value percentage of the first calculation, and adjusting a likelihood of a particular result being generated by the second calculation based on the first output signal and the expected value percentage of the first calculation based on the second output signal. The iteration of the computation may be executed using the modified parameters.

Abstract: Methods and devices for a feedback loop system, associated with delivery of content related to a software application, are disclosed. A method includes determining, for the content, a difference between a target output and a performance output. The performance output is an aggregate of respective unit outputs for unit(s) of the content. The method includes determining an input value required to re-perform at least one of the units. The re-performance can modify the difference. The input value, based on a probabilistic calculation of possible outcomes of the re-performance, is normalized based on a pre-determined baseline input value. The method includes determining, based on the normalized input value, an adjusted unit output associated with the re-performance. The method includes generating, based on the respective unit outputs and the adjusted unit output, and providing for display on a GUI, a graphical display layout comprising a visual representation of the unit(s).

Abstract: Example embodiments relate to predicting aspects of an unknown event. A system may involve an electronic device communicatively coupled to a server. The server may provide a set of possible parameters relating to an unknown event to the electronic device. The electronic device may enable a user to select predicted parameters via a user interface and may further transmit the predicted parameters to the server. The server may generate a combination from the set of possible parameters to use to retrieve a pre-recorded event and transmit the event to the electronic device for display to the user. The server may also compare the predicted parameters to the generated parameters to determine a result and provide the result to the electronic device for display to the user.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus are disclosed related to simulated live dealer games. A computing device can receive a request to play a game of chance that includes a plurality of game actions ordered by a game sequence. The computing device can play the game of chance by: determining a particular game action based on the game sequence; determining a plurality of pre-recorded video segments related to the particular game action, where each of the pre-recorded video segments records a respective instance of the particular game action being performed by a person; selecting a particular pre-recorded video segment from the plurality of pre-recorded video segments; and generating a display related to the particular game action that includes at least a portion of the particular pre-recorded video segment.

Abstract: A computer-implemented for reducing memory requirements for a user interface method includes generating, by one or more processors, a first matrix of symbols with columns that correspond to reels of cyclical symbols. The reels are configured to be rendered in adjacent sections of a display. The method further includes rotating, by one or more processors, each reel by a random amount responsive to receiving a spinning instruction. The method includes configuring a first reel to occupy both a first section of the display associated with the first reel and a second section of the display associated with an adjacent reel so that the adjacent reel will not be rendered when a pattern of symbols of the rendered reels is determined to correspond to a particular pattern. Data that represents the symbols of the reels is maintained in a shadow matrix stored in memory.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods and apparatus related to enhancing player experiences at gaming locations via player journey actions. A server computing device can receive one or more gaming location events related to one or more electronic gaming machines. Each of the electronic gaming machine(s) can be configured to play one or more wager games. At least one of the gaming location events can be associated with a particular wager game. The server computing device can determine one or more player journey actions based on the gaming location events, where the one or more player journey actions instruct at least one electronic gaming machine to perform one or more actions related to the gaming location events. The server computing device can send the gaming location events.
