  • Patent number: 11009138
Abstract: A hose end regulator for regulating pressure in fluid includes a main body having a fluid inlet and fluid outlet. A poppet moves between an open position to permit fluid to flow through the fluid outlet and a closed position to militate against fluid flowing through the fluid outlet. A primary spring permits the poppet to move between the open position and the closed position. A flow maximizer minimizes movement of the primary spring until a predetermined fluid pressure is reached within the main outer body.

  • Patent number: 10495536
Abstract: A differential pressure gauge for measuring a difference in pressure present between a low pressure portion of a fluid and a high pressure portion of the fluid includes a cylinder and a housing. The cylinder includes an opening. The housing includes an opening. A piston extends from a first end having a visual indicator to a second end having a remote indicator. The first end of the piston is in fluid communication with the high pressure portion of the fluid and the second end of the piston is in fluid communication with the low pressure portion of the fluid. A sensor is configured to sense a presence of the remote indicator when the remote indicator is within a sensing range of the sensor. The sensor is coupled to a sensor positioning mechanism for adjusting a position of the sensor with respect to the axial direction of the housing.

  • Patent number: 10288596
Abstract: A kit and method for manufacturing a reference standard for a water detection unit includes a substrate and a tray configured to receive the substrate therein. A tank is configured to receive at least one of the trays therein, wherein a fluorescent solution comprising water and uranine is provided to the tank via an inlet. The solution rises within the tank to saturate the substrate. The trays are then placed in a rotatable rack wherein the substrates are dried to remove excess solution. The dried substrates are then hermetically sealed within a transparent envelope.

  • Patent number: 8141440
Abstract: A closed loop system for obtaining a sample of a fluid from a source of fluid is disclosed, the system including a collection vessel having a fluid chamber disposed therein. A valve assembly is disposed within the collection vessel and adapted to selectively open and close a fluid communication path between the fluid chamber and an associated fluid receptacle. An inlet provides a fluid communication path between the source of fluid and the fluid chamber, and an outlet provides a fluid communication path between the fluid chamber and a fluid recovery system.

  • Patent number: 8091575
Abstract: A valve system for monitoring and controlling a flow of a fluid additive into a main fluid line is disclosed. The system includes a pump that provides a constant flow of the additive from a fluid reservoir through a supply conduit into the main fluid line. A portion of the fluid additive may be diverted into one or more return conduits leading back to the reservoir by opening a solenoid actuated valve in the return conduit. Flow meters are employed to detect the flow rates of the fluids in the supply conduit and the main fluid line. The flow meters provide signals to a control system, which are effective to control the operation of the solenoid actuated valves to maintain a desired flow of the additive into the main fluid line.
