Abstract: Provided is a protective case for a foldable image display apparatus which prevents the hinge breakage due to an external force action exceeding the allowable range in the folded state of the foldable image display apparatus and prevents scratching, stabbing, and other damages of the screen display surface due to foreign substances introduced into the folding space gap formed inside the folding inner surface. The protective case primarily supports and disperses an external force even when an external force is applied to the hinge part in the folded state, and the protective case occupies and closes the folding space gap which is an empty space area.

The image display device having a keyboard is configured such that in a minimized state of the image display device, an attachable/detachable keyboard unit is mounted on the body of the image display device so that the attachable/detachable keyboard unit can be carried as a single piece with the image display device, and in a partially unfolded or wholly unfolded state of the image display device, the keyboard unit is detached to function as a keyboard, where a camera unit applied to the keyboard unit recognizes a user's one-handed gesture, such that it is possible for a user to perform tasks with the device even in the absence of a mouse.

Abstract: An image display device having a transparent display device and an optical shutter. When the disclosed image display device is turned off or inactivated, the image display device allows a still image, which is applied by a user in a state where the still image can be replaced between the transparent display device and a front support surface of a fixed body, to pass through the optical shutter and the transparent display device maintaining a transparent state without consuming electricity and be then always displayed to the user. Further, when the disclosed image display device is turned on or activated, the image display device opacifies the optical shutter applied between the transparent display device and the still image applied by the user, so as to block exposure of the still image and allow only an activated screen of the transparent display device to be displayed to the user.
